^hey brendan, congrats man. hopefully all checks out fine. you can go wrong with aaron and the whole English Racing team. its the pacific northwest's tuning treasure! dont hesitate to text/pm me if you need help with anything.
^good luck getting Aaron up, though maybe on the weekend with enough "motivation" considering the guy never has free time. I hear his favorite motivational speaker is Benjamin, and his twins, and a trip to the Glen never hurts!

thx!
Thanks bud! I just ordered a carchex inspection last night so provided it passes that it should be fine. I'm just trying to figure out a way to get him to pull the craigslist ad. I don't want to send a $500 deposit without inspection first, but inspection will take 2-3 business days. Any ideas? I just don't want to send $500 and then have him run away with it.
haha thanks, I have ordered a carchex inspection so I should be ok

^ usually a good seller will make the exception or change the add for a few days. if he takes it down he has to pay to put it back up, which may be his apprehension.
So whats the official NW policy on racing GT-R's on the west seattle bridge? Had that cop not pulled him over I would have won (right?)! (note to the GT-R driver: when you see the cop merge behind you, dont try to street-race the beautiful EB Evo next to you!)
If you beat him across the bridge its a win in my book. Cops are just road hazzards.
I agree with Jason, use paypal and list terms and you should be fine. Just don't be too picky with terms as you don't want to come off like an ***.
BTW - isn't Karim's Evo WW and relatively low miles in the price range. Granted, not 6k miles, but it has nice add-ons.
The only thing to be wary about is if the car was in an accident and the person "fixed" it themselves, and didn't report it, no report will show that information. Get underneath it, look for any issues, check the tires, as someone else mentioned, and also check the underpanel to see if it has been removed (a sure sign it was modified/worked on at some point). Likely not the case, but you never know.

So did you race him or did he just try to race you and got pulled over? That is brilliant, btw! Flexing his junk at you and got nabbed!

^Very cool! If that does work out, that must be an absolute cherry of a car. I'm guessing an older person owns it as part of a collection.
Also, make sure you go through the gears when driving. The MR 6-spd has weaker 4th and 5th gearing. Nothing to be worried about (I run 500awhp+...when my motor ain't blow'd up) but the other scenario is this could have been a track car with so low miles. In road racing is where you would start testing the boundary of the stock 6-spd.
Welcome to the fam!

Thanks again for the warm welcome!
If he has 2 sets of BBS try to get him to throw them in with the deal. Could give you a winter set, or a set to sell.
P.S. If you are driving down to pick it up, you should seriously consider taking it to English Racing to get it tuned while you are down here. You will be glad you did.
