I'm going to Golden Gardens with some friends, maybe hit up xxx on the way back. Golden Gardens starts at 10.

You have plenty of room. Flat ground on any road, a jack, some jackstands. Done. Seriously, 30k is nothing. Some options you guys have:
- coordinate a "mod party" like Justin and I did a couple weekends ago
- ask someone with space (I've offered before)
- pay someone to do it; not recommended but if you want to drop a few hundred bucks I'm sure you could find someone to take your money!
BTW - someone mentioned $80 in fluids. That is not entirely accurate.
fluids are pretty expensive, especially since you usually can't find them in quart sizes (tranny fluid can be $80+ for 1 gallon alone!). You could go AMSOIL, Redline, or some other brand to save money, but you'd likely pay more than $80 for motor oil, tcase/rear diff gear oil, tranny, and coolant.
Also, don't forget your cabin filter ($12 I think), and expect to check accessory belts (timing belt is done at 60k).
Not having facebook cost me an invite to John's party.
But I did take first in a couples poker night, and walked out with $100+ (smaller group than expected unfortunately).

Hey Big Dan, you make me feel that i have to come out more and stop doing OverTime ha. I just ordered my fluids from Russell and cost me pretty close to $200 bucks. I might change my exhaust pretty soon and i might need your help. Maybe just the space so i can work on it. And I don't forget, I still owe you $10 bucks buddy.
I have a garage and a decent collection of tools so I'd be willing to help any of you guys out with this stuff for a nominal donation to support my racing habit.
I have plenty of time on my hands at the moment so PM me if you want to take me up on my offer. I have 40k miles on my Evo and have done all the maintenance on it myself along with a few upgrades. I do plan on hitting up ER when I'm ready for the 60k service though.

BTW: being low on tranny fluids is a bad thing. Wwear this girl/guy I saw on saturday night was super low on tranny fluids cause I couldnt tell if it was a guy or a girl.....
what lucky guy was your "couple"?
It was a rough estimate to enable a better comparison between going to a mechanic or doing it yourself.

Didn't matter who my pahd-nah was. I actually won for us both!
So lately I've been pricing turbo back exhaust systems and have had quite some interest in the Greddy Ti-C. I was talking with a friend and he told me not to get an exhaust system with less than 100mm piping because he's "seen issues with evos not having big enough exhaust piping." I searched the net and couldn't find anything bigger than 80mm piping with 100+mm tip. He recommended getting a custom exhaust. Now, IMO a 100mm exhaust seems a little excessive... that's just about 4"!!
So now I've been kind of leaning towards a custom exhaust, but I'm still not so sure about 4" piping... especially if i'm only shooting for about 400-450 whp right now.
Any thoughts?
