Hmm, you don't know much about load bracing do you? The reason the bar is anchored in 4 places is to provide cross torsion regidity. Remove the diagonal connections between the top right and bottom left corners, it just allow force to be transferred from one side of the vehicle to the other, as the bolts are going to act as pivot points instead of anchors. Now picture a tremendous side load pushing on the side of your car. (A pair of slicks, good suspension, and a hard corner.) If the top and bottom braces can move independantely of each other, your square of anchor points going to start looking like a trapazoid. That's where the cross braces come in. they don't allow the shape to deform, as it transfers part of the stress among the anchors on same side of the vehicle.

Man, I wish you could just copy/paste pictures to the threads. I can draw this stuff up pretty fast to explain it better with diagrams etc...

^ no need. It makes perfect sense in the mind's eye. If you cant visualize it then its probably not worth the effort to draw up.

Anywho, he's happy with it that way so maybe just weld it to the intercooler and let that take up the slack?

I AM ABOVE THE LAW!!!!!

Sure it cost more than the tickets were for but I have been found innocent and did not commit EITHER of the 2nd degree neglegent infractions that the officers claimed I did.

Billiards and beer tonight! (technically every tuesday night is billiards and beer, its tuesday night bar-league-billiards night!)

Who is running EBC here? I'm trying to buy one so I can get ready for when English comes up and was probably looking into buying a Greddy Profec B Spec II but have read it is hard to set up. Any experience on this unit or any other EBC's?

I bought a Blitz Spec R and i loved it. It's very convenient and can put more boost compare it to manual one.pretty easy set up but i took it to drift office to install it.that was Aaron recommendation actually when i was getting my 1st tune. It's about $450-$500 bucks.
