5 quarts Mobil 1 Extended Performance synthetic oil + Mobil 1 oil filter for $29.99
This is a good deal. I usually get my oil from Walmart but I'll have to hit up Pepboys for this deal. Thanks Dan!

I have my doubts about how much chassis rigidity this brace adds to begin with, especially considering what it's mounted to. Cusco does make some great pieces but I think this particular piece adds more show than go. Since you hacked up the brace, you now have two free ends sitting on the top of the intercooler that are now just dead weight. That brace is no longer transferring the loads across it's attachment points as Cusco designed. I have to agree with the other guys but what you've done is pretty ricey. Expensive rice, but still rice.

I've been running the Mobil 1 EP with 4-5k change intervals. I don't sweat it if I have to go a little longer than normal sometimes. I do check my oil level at least once a week if not more though. My evo burns through about a quart in between changes.

Mobil 1 EP is a class IV whereas Mobil 1 syth is arguably a class III. I haven't verified the deals in person, but I do want to get some EP. I hear Mobil 1 filters are also debatable; some people like them and some don't. I've only ever used OEM.

pic o' the day!

no worries brother! we're all here to help each other out! How much did you sell it for? That was a nice exhaust and I was tempted myself.
