Each day I work on the galant, more parts seem to come off instead of staying on. Now it has No fmic, no piping, throttle body, crank pulley, side motor mount, fuel pump hooked up, alternator belt.

anyone have advice on how to make my megan downpipe for an 05 acd evo stop rubbing against the chasis brace. it only does it between 3000-4000 rpm under part throttle. it is not too bad but i'd like to get rid of the noise.

Add a couple of washers between the braces and the chassis. Mine was rubbing on the one with 3 bolts holding it on and it took two washers to get the clearance I needed. You can grab some from your local auto parts store or hit up the bolts and stuff section at Lowes. I don't recall the bolt size off the top of my head so you'll have to take one off to make sure you get the right sized washers. Another thing I have are the Kartboy polyurethane exhaust hangers that really help stabilize the whole exhaust track. They have an Evo kit that replaces all of the stock rubber hangers and they really stabilize the exhaust components.

I know there's an Evo wing size to bra size conversion chart but since it's on the back end of the car this anthem needs to be played whenever an Evo goes wingless.

So your girlfriend rolls a Honda, playin' workout tapes by Fonda
But Fonda ain't got a motor in the back of her Honda
My anaconda don't want none
Unless you've got buns, hun
You can do side bends or sit-ups,
But please don't lose that butt
Some brothers wanna play that "hard" role
And tell you that the butt ain't gold
So they toss it and leave it
And I pull up quick to retrieve it
So Cosmo says you're fat
Well I ain't down with that!
'Cause your waist is small and your curves are kickin'
And I'm thinkin' bout stickin'
To the beanpole dames in the magazines:
You ain't it, Miss Thing!
Give me a sister, I can't resist her
Red beans and rice didn't miss her
Some knucklehead tried to dis
'Cause his girls are on my list
He had game but he chose to hit 'em
And I pull up quick to get wit 'em
So ladies, if the butt is round,
And you want a triple X throw down,
Dial 1-900-MIXALOT
And kick them nasty thoughts
Baby got back!

19mpg in the Galant this last tank. That just might be a personal best. Mostly city driving, too.

+1 to both suggestions. The one down side with the washers approach is that depending on the dp to get the braces to clear you really have to put a few of them in there so it clears both when the car is cold and warm. You can then end up with the braces (especially aftermarket ones) being the lowest point of your car. Then you get into situations where the front bumper clears something but the brace does not .
