Sup everyone. I live in Vancouver WA. i am trying to get myself an EvoX here. As you all know, we have some ****ing ridiculous Mitsubishi dealerships around this area. I am hoping to get one as soon as possible.
So I went to the Beaverton Mitsubishi today asking for the trade in value for my 2008 Legacy GT Spec B. ( Turbocharged, nav, etc etc ). Now, a brand new one is about 32k. My spec b. has less than 2000 mileage,
basically a brand new car. At first, they offered 20k, lol? Seriously, 20k. Then they only offered like 26,300. And they're trying to sell me their loaded Evo X for 45k, WTF? 45k. Then they went down to 42k, while
taking the spec b for 26,300 as trade in. Seriously, WTF. 42 ****ing k for a loaded X? The PB was really nice looking in the showroom, no doubt I want it, but there is no way I will buy it for 42k.

That's what used cars are all about. You should know that you will never get any money on a trade-in. Your only chance is hoping to sell private party to a fool who will pay near retail. Why do you want to get rid of a 2008 with 2000 miles? You just bought that car. Should have thought harder and bought the EVO instead. Any move at this point is about loosing money.
On a another note, I got my manifold the other day - sweetness. Now I just need an Eagle 4g64 forged crank, valve springs, and an ACT clutch to tear into the motor.

We are taking down to of the cars i have been working on. The one that you saw at school and one of the guys he works with. Just getting a baseline on both cars before we start making some real power.

I wouldn't really say i am a disbeliever i just wanted to see the pic, Looks good! Have you considered using a 4g64 crank instead of an eagle crank? Back in the days when all i wanted was a 2.3 in the 1g i could never talk my self into believing that the eagle way worth the money. If it were me i would just find a 2.4 crank in perfect shape a go from there.

I was looking at new crank's and the difference is only $200.
Haven't really considered a used crank. Find me a perfect 7 bolt 4g64 crank and I may be game.
I know hardcores like the 6 bolt but all the parts I have so far are 7 bolt and that's what the EVO uses anyway.
