Yea, the exhaust was pretty bad, and about three times louder. got pulled over my first day in WA and the cop saw the car was from OR and gave me a warning.

They cut between the two hangers on the muffler section and shortened it about 2-3".

Notice the super chinsey and ghay "burnt" tip..... Ebay FTL! just get a full polished one and dont try to get that tip, they do a CHEAP job of it and most of it actaully scratched off by now due to heat!

I have about 11-12K cash and just want a clean title evo, doesn't have to be modded or perfection condition. It can have blemishes.

It's not going to happen if you're planning on only spending 11-12k.

If you can find someone to scout the dealer auctions for you, you might get lucky and find an evo for that price.

I was looking around for one in the $5-6K range (cash of course) and just couldnt find one either!

All joking aside, if you can find one thats great! I've seen them go for $14k, but they are totaled, badly wrecked, no motor/tranny type situations. NEVER have i seen a reasonable evo go for less than $20K.

It is fantastic that you are interested in such an awesome platform! You probably like the blend of performance, looks, safety and performance (yes twice!). However there are a great many other people who also feel the same way and supply hasnt gotten any better so you are stuck with the cold hard reality that IF you find a evo for $12K, it will NOT be in the condition you want (or drivable most likely).

It simply isnt enough money to get into the platform. Some of us waited 7 years for the price to get down near $20K and those who bought new for $34K are not that happy about the current prices!

yeah uh. i prolly paid twice that for a super clean evo, clean history, decent shape, legally driven in canada. it was advertised in oregon for 21xxxUSD when i saw it last year...

keep your eyes peeled on craigslist and autotrader and save a little bit more.

Hey guys, just thought I would let you all know that I fly out to Las Vegas tomorrow morning and will be gone for about 7 days (maybe longer if i get hitched).

Some pics will be up upon my return, hopefully not mug shots.

Everybody have fun talking smack without my stupid comments cluttering your forum!
