. i have never been to Golden Fleece before. As for location? i think its pretty far. if we get to tired we might have to stay at a hotel or something. its not like last year where they had it in Puyallup. but i heard the tables are nice. my sister made it there last year. she said that they dont have liquor just beer.

They have very unique play characteristics. Such as: The tightest pockets you will ever play on (I swear they are 1/4" narrower than ANYWHERE else in king county), the bumpers are VERY bouncy, yet consistant, and the felt is fast.
We have to play there about 3-4 times per year and I will say that we win less than 25% of our matches there due to the tables... We believe it will make the average newcommer play 1 rank below their potential.
I strongly encourage somebody on your team to scout it out before hand.
bwuuu haaa haaaa!!!!!
In all fairness, I feel confident that at some (one?) of the northwest Evo group meets that a discussion related to, or about me has come up. Hence being the life of parties that I was neither invited to, or able to attend.

Okay, seriously... This is BS.
I took a hour long lunch today (as opposed to the normal 30 min lunch) and the boss comes in to give some BS story about how we need to work our entire shift and I need to stay late to make it up.....
Sure, sounds fair. Now i'll request that as I havent taken a single 15 minute break in the past 4 years that i'll need to be paid for that time or report it to WASHA......
Sound fair yet boss?????? Yeaaaaaaaa, I thought not.
Step 1) Think inside the box
Step 2) realize issues with thinking inside box
Step 3) Think outside the box
Run your business like a BOSS.

My lunch was somewhat similar, Ryan. My boss said "let's go to lunch" so we went for an hour (on the clock). When it was time to head back my coworker (who went with us) said "let's cruise the Kirkland waterfront since it is so nice out; chicks will be out en masse." My boss said "you guys don't have anything else better to do on the clock, do you?"
Okay, maybe not so similar.

Alright. A friend of mine just got a '9' yesterday. I was telling him about the last meet. He's definitely interested in going, and so am I. I'll keep checking this thread from time to time. Thanks llDemonll.
Create a paper trail. Send an email to your boss detailing how 'sorry' you are for mistaking the corporate break policy. Ask him for some clarification on exactly what is the appropriate break schedule. If the business practice falls outside of State or Federal requirements then you can essentially 'bank' those dollars for when you leave that job by threatening a lawsuit (backdated from your hire date). Just don't expect to use them as a reference in the future
