Hello,
I'm all financed up and ready to buy an evo but nobody is selling! I'm trying to find an unmodified or slightly modified evo 8 or maybe a 9. Was told to go screw myself today by a dealership who wanted 22k for an 8 with 110,00 miles on it. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

a great member of this forum by the name of Boltz.. has the perfect car for you.. low miles.. mint condition.. very minor mods.. back seats not even used.. You will not find rust on this car.. it's an Evo 8. Message him for full info.

Note: The white car in his full drag car.. he has a Red Evo that he bought thinking he would daily it.. but he feels bad rusting the car since it's in great condition.. Tell him Gilbert send you.. He hasn't even posted the car for sale yet.. but I know it will be going soon.

And yes we are in Chicago.. Sorry I logged in to Evom and saw your post, I didn't even look at the subject heading.

In all honesty.. If you find the car you really want, anything could be arranged you wouldn't be the first person to travel across state to buy a car. Just look at the pictures, you are not going to find such an unmolested and clean Evo 8 as good as that. Good luck in what ever you find.

 

Don't be afraid to look out of state. I bought mine from an EvoM member in Cali. Flew down, drove it back the same day. One owner 05 GSR SSL pretty heavily modded, but very cleanly modded and with quality parts. 103k on it, $19k. That was in March on this year, the only thing that has really went wrong with it in that time, outside of regular maintainance and doing more mods, has been the starter.

There is a white RS evo 8 for sale here in kennewick, West coast auto sales. Asking $19

 

Get an Evo from California. They tend to be cheaper and more well maintained. Ask me how I know.

 

I know he has just got some very nice cars in stock recently. A GG MR IX to be precise.
