2.4 LR build

Looking for some recommendations on doing a 2.4 LR build for 05 Evo 8. Not looking at a budget build. Want to use good crank, rods, pistons. Looking for around 500 whp. Looking for a shop that has some confidence in their builds. Need to get this build going. My friend that owns this car has been waiting for me to make time to help him with this build. Looking for a assembled short block or all the pieces and machine work and I can assemble. Will post pics of build. Thanks

I talked with Myles this morning, Couldn't get much out of him. Wouldn't mind having you guys build a short block for me. Personally I'm a little worried about doing a 2.4 build and need a little talking into. Lance Williams is a friend of mine and we are running almost the same set up he is. You probably know about his build. The only difference is this is going in a street car and not a full race car so it wont be getting pushed the same way. I was going to call and talk to Lucas to get his opinion. Just need someone to help us figure out our best options. Want to get started on this ASAP. Thanks

For a road race car I dont think the LR2.4 is as good an option as either the SLR2.2 or the LR2.3 we are now currently testing. There are lots of potential causes for the issues we saw in Lance's car but its back to a 2.0L to keep it happy. I ran my LR2.4 at high power for the whole time I owned it and my IX, for a street car its the most fun I have had.

A "fast" street car is a different story and I would do a smaller motor now.

Sorry for the late reply, been real busy. Trying to find the time to drive down and talk with you guys. I do a lot better in person. We are going with the 2.4 LR. Just trying to work out the best build and not rush it. Thanks
