Hey guys. There has to be a great, reputable machine shop in the Southeast that I can get my bottom end to. Does anyone have first-hand experience and can recommend a machine shop?

I'm looking to build a 2.4LR and will require a good shop to: Bore/Hone (with torque plate, which I have) to exact piston-to-wall clearance, Line bore mains (using ARP main studs), balance rotating assembly.

If they do top-notch cylinder head work: CBN decking (smooth finish for metal HG), Bronze guide install, cut for +1mm oversize valves.


If anyone has first-hand experience and can suggest a good machine shop I would appreciate it!

Looked them up. Top-notch work! Scared though...they have a 2.4L Long-rod block on their FB page for $5750. That's almost 6K for a block, crank and rods/pistons. Holy ****! I hope they are reasonable on the machine work.

Contacted them over FB but no response. I'm in Afghanistan so a phone call is a little hard to make. I get home in a month so I'll just give them a ring.
