Are you sure the log is right? I don't think you can hit 300 load cells with a Evo 9 turbo at 25 PSI. I feel your loosing a lot of power in the mid range especially post 200 load cells in the boost range.
I run a 25G turbo at 26PSI and the load cell I hit is 260~ and AFRs are at 11~ at WOT and 12~ at spool. Ill take some more logs when I get my evo back, should I try upping my timing and lean out my afr in the mid-range area? |

+2 to +3 deg at this load and RPM is very safe for an Evo 8 with stock compression, Kelford 272s and 25 psi boost.

From 200 to 250 in the RPM range 3k to 6k start with a 4 degree increase and taper to 1-2 degree at 6k. I am sure your car will not knock much as long as you ensure AFRs are under 11.5.. Run a log and let us know.. If need me I can look an my old map that I ran fast and clean on a evo 9 turbo with stock cams.
What is the ambient temperature at your location? |

@Tomkun This ignition map is for an Evo 8 2.0L with 9:1 compression and 25 psi boost flat across the rev range, Kelford 272s and 91 gas. The safe operating ambient temp range is 70-100 deg F.
