Did you use a hole saw or regular drill bit on the valve cover?

going to use a regular drill bit btw. the valve cover is magnesium

Tom on the non-PCV nipple you may wanna try to drill a tiny hole a bit further down from where the original hole is and enlarge the hole down to where the smaller hole is as drilling the 1/2" hole where it sits will be really close to the top of the valve cover...

ya im gonna check it out. just gotta make sure its above the baffle is all. i will probably end up drilling the other side as well.

baffles are like little shields positioned to control oil when it gets slinged around. so you want to make everything so its being protected by those shields otherwise you will lose lots of oil.

drill out the existing hole and then make the other side the same as the other side as long as its in line with the other hole you know its above the baffling. sorry took so long to reply.

All this work, removing the valve cover, drilling and tapping. Why not use this.

It was mentioned a couple times why they/we don't want to use that one...I, myself, don't want what goes in my catch can to drain back into my oil pan...

Why ? It is just oil ? It is not as if the oil that is pushed out into the catch can is 'bad'. I think the idea of sending it back into the oil pan is smart.

The question I still can't seem to understand is why are some people having so much oil vent from the valve cover ? I get some, but nothing like what others have indicated.
