FS: Buschur 2.5" axleback muffler
FS: Buschur 2.5" axleback muffler
2.5" Buschur axleback Muffler (the small one).
- bolts on to stock piping.
- some of the steel wool inside it is burned up
- not tried on my car
Reason for selling:
My primary concern is keeping the car quiet over hp gain so I want all the sound absorbing wool to be in place.
I bought the muffler from demon187 a few days ago (see
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=109497). It turns out that some of the steel wool inside is burned up. You can feel/hear the remining wool inside sliding when tipping the muffler end over end. demon187 is being difficult and will not do a clean refund if I send the muffler back to him. He wants me to pay him an "inconvenenice fee" and wants to be refunded for shipping along other things. He also states that I should of asked about the steel wool before my purchase.
Below are quotes (unrelated text deleted) that hopefully answer any questions about the condition of the muffler. I am being as honest as I can, unlike some people.
I contacted Buschur to see what he thinks and here is his reply:
Anyway, taking offers. If all I get is low-*****, then I'll keep it and maybe eventually I'll try it. If I get an offer that will allow me to recover the majority of my cost, I'll sell it.
Again, my #1 goal is to keep the car quiet and that is why I didn't even bother installing it (So don't ask me how loud it is as I don't know).

- The brief time that it was on my vehicle I had no issues with it.
- When I had the muffler I only noticed a little more noise over stock.
- Did not not sound tinny either.
- I never noticed any of the packing comming out
- I would put it on anyway you might be supprised.
