FS: 2002 S/C Honda S2000

I am posting this for a friend. He is a salesman at a local dealership. He is NOT selling this car through the dealership as it is his own personal car. I can attest to everything about the car. It is absolutely amazing and a blast to drive. Here is his description of the car.

"This is a one of a kind S2000. This car was built for car shows. It is supercharged with the Comptech kit with aftercooler and frount-mount intercooler. It has a Nitrous express nitrous kit (never used). It has a full titanium exhaust, ACT clutch with a Comptech lightened flywheel(both brand new), 17" Motegi Trak lite wheels, carbon colored, they weigh in at 14lbs a piece with Nitto tires. The wheels and tires are 2 months old. It also has a full custom audio system with a monitor fiberglassed into the dash with center channel speakers (Kicker), front door speakers(Polk Audio) and a rear custom fiberglassed 8" Kicker L7 square sub mounted between the seats with 2 3" Kicker speakers for rear fill. All of the audio is run from a Kicker 700.5 amp and a SAAV DVD/CD/MP3 head unit. The Kicker amp is fiberglassed into the trunk. The audio was set up for Dolby 5.1, so it sounds awesome! The car is very fast! It also comes with a full K40 radar/Laser system, it's worth about $1500, it will keep you out of trouble. The car is in excellent condition and runs great! I have a child on the way, so I have to part with this beauty. I have many more pictures available. This car is not going through the dealership, so if you have any questions please ask for Fran at 913-704-9679. Thank you."

Here is a link to about 35 pictures I took today. http://p0300.tripod.com/s2000/

Here are a few pictures for those interested.

Anyone that doubts this car, notice the Bar F1 jacket. ^^^^^

He means the wheels separately. I have seen anywhere from 13-15 lbs. ratings on the wheels.

Ok, in the engine bay pic it looks to me like the outlet of the supercharger connects directly to the aftercooler. But in the second pic there is an intercooler. I don't get it, is the intercooler just for show, or is the plumbing more complex than the pics lead me to believe. Either way, nice car.

Out of 44 total pictures I took, I didn't bother to get a good side shot. I'm going down to the dealership in a minute so I'll get some up.

I don't get it either. It looks like the supercharger feeds directly into the chargecooler, which feeds directly into the engine. I see no reason to have a Spearco intercooler, let alone just mount it with no connections. You can tell because the nitrous is ported directly into the intake system, so it is a good guess that there is no reason to have the intercooler.

Not to be a naysayer, the car looks nice, but if the intercooler is not functional, scratch the nice and replace it with rice.

BTW, a dyno plot would be nice. I see there is nitrous in the trunk too which appears to be a wet system. I am assuming that this is a 50 shot? I think your friend would have a little better luck with performance numbers to back up the audio specs - and an explanation of the intercooler and chargecooler.

The Spearco is NOT an intercooler. It is actually a radiator for the aftercooler.

"The radiator not only will give you cooler air intake temps because of the efficiency and extra cooling area, but it gives you the front mount intercooler look without have to add extra piping or the cutting of your car. The Radiators use the same fin design that which Spearco is famous for there intercoolers."
