That chasis looks like a nightmare to work with. I personally wouldn't invest in a car like that, not worth it in my opinion. Poor EVO it has been stripped to almost nothinig. That guy must be crazy if he thinks he can get 12K for it.

I emailed him asking whats up with the car. no reply yet.

One thing that makes me really wonder is in the Ebay profile he says he has over 17k invested into it? yeah ok

Its a new car so you think it was fully insured meaning he got payed back in full for the accident or payed a good amount, plus he must have sold off the engine/trans and interior. The only thing I can think is this guy has probably made more of a profit off this car so far.

12k for a rolling chasis ? considering he probably paid 6k at the most to buy it back from insurance company and made maybe 5k on engine/trans and who knows how much on the interior. Just because its repaired still doesnt make it a jem.

Got a reply from the guy here is what he had to say:

"All was replaces in the front with new. Salvage EVO in good condition are worth 18 K or higher enless there are other issus with the car"

OK thats great right, but good thing those come with engines and transmissions. plus still can get for cheaper than that. 16k at the most for a car salvage with trans and engine in tact.

With no suprize to me the auction ended with the reserve not met. Check online again today on ebay and its back up http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true

Sill trying to figure out why he would want 12k for a rolling chasis when he sold off the interior and most likely the engine and transmission plus not to mention getting paid back most likely by the insurance company for the accident in the first place.
