We would like to offer you a very rare and unique opportunity without much coming out of your pocket. Because this site is dedicated to Lancer and Evolution enthusiasts, we knew this would be the perfect place to host such a raffle for an excellent cause. We would like to announce the raffle of a BRAND NEW Lancer Evolution!! The winner of our Raffle will be granted a check made out to their local Mitsubishi dealer so that they can have their choice of color, and without traveling to pick it up. Somebody will WIN an Evolution for as little as $100. This is how it will work: We have 500 tickets to raffle off, each being priced at $100. The odds start out at 1 to 500, which is pretty good for a $30,000 automobile. We are collecting funds through paypal only, so that we can keep all funds together so that the car can be purchased with cash once the $30K is met. We, in return, will either mail you your ticket stub, or we can email you with the numbers. We will keep records so that even if you lose your stub, we will know who you are. Once again, somebody WILL WIN AN EVOLUTION for as little as $100. For more information, please email us at Raffle@JiveMotorsports.com. If you would like to go ahead and purchase tickets, the paypal account is set up to receive funds to that same email, Raffle@JiveMotorsports.com. Thank you all in advance for participating, and I hope we have a great turn out! As for the deadline, we hope to have all 500 tickets sold by August 1st. That gives everyone a little while to figure out their finances and get their stubs from us. Thanks again!

nice little profit for them 100 x 500 = $50000

Hey guys, I spoke with one of their guys... looks like they only need 400 tickets sold by the 1st in order for the raffle to end, and if they are short, they'll extend the raffle by a week or so. I guess the response has been good because he made the comment that they are not worried about not selling all the tickets, so I dont know. Also, the last day to buy is the 1st, the raffle will be the 2nd, and the winner will be posted on their site by the 3rd! Im in on this without a doubt.

this is the response I got....

"thanks very much! So far, I would have to say that I have sold about 90 tickets... not too many!! Of course you can buy more than 1... in fact, most people have been buying 3-5. To be honest, there is no true way to prove we will only sell 500 tickets aside from giving you my word. The roll of tickets we have is only 500 tickets long, so I guess that is as good as proof as I can give you!! Hope you'd like to participate! Thanks for the email!"
-Josh

doesn't look like they are selling too fast...

The only way I would particpate in a raffle like that would be if we could be there to see the name get drawn, other than that its pretty shady on the fairness of the drawing.

^^^I was thinking that too. It seems as if you were holding a raffle for a 30k prize, one of your friends would be sure to win it if there was nobody present to watch or anything.

All due respect to these guys doing the raffle, but we might as well just go place our 100.00 bill in the toilet and flush it... At least we could actually see our bucks being wasted, with paypal you never even see it! lol

ok guys i am raffling a skyline imported from japan ok tickets are 250 and i need to sell 1000

sounds great doesn't it

i won't have to front any of my own money and the skyline imported will only be like 100000 at most so i pocket 150000 don't worry i will buy a house. oh yeah and i will sell a lot of tickets to my friends and draw their name most likely, hell i will buy 200 tickets myself with the money already in the pot lol. i will draw the name alone in my room so its fair to me.

send me your money please

iamgonnaripyouoff@paypal.com

ok maybe i went a lil far but this plan is a ripoff its a nice way for someone to pocket 20g's thats all why not only sell 300 tickets?? cuz there is no profit in that.

I emailed them and found out- they are holding the raffle at a car show which is local to them, and they are not drawing the name, The winner of the car show will. Also, they say there is no profit to be made... the money will pay for the car, as well as all the other prizes they are raffling off. They are giving away other prizes, not just the Evo. I'll post the list of prizes when I get the email.
