Anyway... to the car!....
First of all... let me introduce her to you:
Standard info about this amazing car:
- 2003 Tarmac Black EVO8 (with cf wing and sunroof)
- 28900 miles (mostly highway.. daily driver to work)
- Only 2500 non-tracked miles on new set of Yokohama Advans (just can't beat these babies!.. )
- 1200 non-tracked miles on brand new RPS 2900lbs clutch (which works amazing, btw! CRISP SOLID SHIFTS! best daily driver and under 500hp evo clutch out there, imo!!!)
- 1700 non-tracked miles on brand new Ferodo 2500 brake pads (car brakes like a supercar!..
)- Mobil 1 synthetic changed every 3k miles religiously (at the first 500 miles and 1500 miles when I first got the car)
- Redline in trans and x-fer case when I just did the new clutch!
- General health of this car: Car has not had one single hickup since I bought it brand new in May 2003!.. It's a solid car!
- Waxed and polished religiously ... yep, it's a beauty!!!.. liquid mirror reflective black paint!!!!!! how can you beat it!!???
Mods (I may part them out if car can't be sold as is in 2 months.. but some parts can only be parted out locally via a stock part swap at our shop):
- Apex'i Turbo Timer
- Brand new, just broken in, upgraded Clutch (RPS) (I love this clutch!.. I wish I would've had this clutch the entire time I owned the car!.. Incredible crisp solid shifting and super easy daily driving stop and go clutch.. no need to hit the gas when letting out the clutch.. super smooth!! (goes with car)
- Stainless Steel Braided Clutch Line + Clutch restrictor removed (huge part of the clutch engagement improvement comes from this.. car is now very easy to drive.. compared to the spongy over-slipping that the stock rubber line and incredibly restrictive spring loaded stock restrictor creates!)
- Dynoflashed ECU (stays with car, obviously... and you know what this does to cars all over the states!! smooth strong power compared to stock a/f, and timing settings!)
- Black leather MOMO shift knob (can't be parted out)
- B&M Short Shifter (can't be parted out)
- Mitsubishi alu. pedals (can't be parted out)
- Clarion CD/MP3 head unit (matches perfectly with stock interior red lighting) - Also all HVAC lights have been changed to red color instead of the stock ugly light turqois colors.. so it all matches beautifully!! - $150
- Upgraded crisp and solid speakers (blaupunkt front separates - sony rear speakers)
- Viper Alarm!!! A must for an expensive, rare car like this! that is installed to work perfectly with the Apex'i turbo timer!
- For those who don't know, the EVO doesn't come with any type of alarm stock!.. just standard locks!!! Picture of dash at night:
