I am in a situation where I found a good deal on a used '04 TL and need to sell my Evo immediately. I would only consider taking less for my car if I can complete a deal this weekend on my Evo and the TL I am considering.

How about $21,750 !!!!

If I cannot buy the specific TL this weekend and sell my car this weekend I will continue to shop Acura dealers which are offering me $21,500 + $1900 tax savings for a total trade in value of $23,400.

You may want to throw this on the S2000 board at that price! I am sure there are some S2000 guys in the market for an Evo.

Mike,

Out of curiosity if the "real" value of the trade in is $23400 why sell it privately and accept not only less $$ but also the liability of selling the car?

Because I am buying a used '04 TL from a private party and the Acura dealers basically only have new TL's at $31k-$33k which is out of my budget right now.

I have been viewing posts on this website for the past couple of months, trying to see what the mitsu community is like. I am still an active member of the VW community, mostly on road racing/track forums. But who can pass up a car with AWD, tons of HP and Torque and still CA smog legal!!!!

I have been searching to buy an EVO for the past 4 months, and this is one of the best deas I have seen......to bad your on the other end of the country. Would you consider shipping the car?? I will be in New York City on the 20th through the 24th of this month. If you still have it by then I will seriously consider buying it from you as long as you have not put 40k miles on the car by then!!!! hehe I will check on this forum as the date comes, and if it is not sold I will take a Bank cashiers check with me!! email me with more pictures of interior and engine bay please.

I sold my 20th Aniversary VW GTI 1.8t in June for an evo, I just cant justify paying retail at the dealership....I will never buy a new car from a dealer.

The car has 18k on it so I would estimate the ORIGINAL tires are probably good for another 5k-7k miles.

do you have title in hand? Does it have a lienholder? Is is a clean title?

What color does the guage light up at night?? Do you have any interior pics at night with instrument lighting on? Have you had any mechanical problems with vehicle? What is it that you said you did to the exhaust???

I do have the title in hand ... it is clean and does have a lien on it form my credit union. If I receive a certified bank check my credit union will give me a lien release on the spot.

The boost gauge lights up red and is almost a perfect match to the rest of the interior lights. You do have the option to install different colors in the boost gauge.

Mechanically the car is perfect. Installed is a Buschur racing muffler delete pipe and I do have the OEM muffler for you.

My wife works the overnight shift 7pm - 7am and when she goes to work she takes the MDX and leaves me with the Evo because she absolutely refuses to drive the car. She barely knows how to drive a manual tranny and doesnt like the level of luxury and comfort the car has ... which is next to nothing. After working 12+ hours overnight the last thing she wants to do is deal with driving a manual transmission car .. especially an Evo.

The problem with the Evo is that the baby seats barely fit in the back and the extra long stroller has NO chance in hell of fitting in the trunk. We have twins and got one of those Limo looking strollers.

So my point is to sell the Evo and buy a 2004 Acura TL which I like alot and so does my wife. This way she can leave the MDX at home and drive the TL when she goes to work.

Honestly a little comfort would be welcome on my part to ... especially when I have to travel several hours in a day to a client the Evo is punishing.

Allot of people are apparently turned off by it being black with no sunroof.
