The canards are just bolted to the bumper cover. They are really not that well designed, I didn't know enough about canards when I built them. If I did them again I would ditch the adjustment, and add curvature up the main ramping face.

I think my car could do 1:27 on fresh tires and with a ballsie driver - that is in the same general range of Porsche 911 cup cars on slicks which is mid 1:20's. I think my fastest lap is 1:34, and that is still leaving a good portion of throttle on the table after the kink in the main straight before turn 1. So that's about low 150's mph through turn 1 and the car at WOT all the way into turn 1 should do 160+ mph. I'm just whimpy.

Hey man, what did you end up doing about your turbo bolt issue??? They keep coming loose on me every 1-2k it seems.
EDIT: I read the last page I haven't been keeping up. Have you had a chance to run that safety wire and bolt/nut set up? If so how were the results?

Yeah, the car is going to sit this year out, so I dont know how the new nuts are holding. Too many milling machine projects to get it finished, and three kids.... Hardly any free time these days. Its rough.

No worries, life always takes us on the turns it wants sometimes. I might have to try the setup you did although I have a stock manifold. I daily drive my evo so I need this done sooner than later, I will post up results as I get them.
Keep up the dope work on the milling machine, I can't wait to get some seat brackets I really like the setup.

EVO is still just hanging out in the garage - and focus might be shifting for this next year....
My free-time is so limited now with kids and work I can't support a bunch of projects. AND, it's looking like the guys from work are game for going racing next year - Chump Car style. So we are on the Craigslist prowl for a $500 BMW 325i E30.
Something like this action.
