no need to draw out its a natural can't help its a popular thread double pumper should have been made by now so all peaces in place. One more comment on SD it would be easier for me to do it if my tuner was closer 6 hours is not ideal. Cars tune must be spot on everytime no matter the conditions

no, not all SD tunes fail, but many have so far from very reputable sources. I dont know what the cause of it is, maybe because they are tapping into the existing fuel temp sensor for the IAT, or maybe because they rushed the install. i dont know or care honestly. I will play with it when it gets warmer out in the summer if I get bored.

What I do know is this, If your timing map and fuel map are not smooth, your vehicle will not be smooth either. The maps work hand in hand. I know this from personal experience on my own car and 24 hrs of testing on country backroads with all kinds of weird shaped maps.

I understand that, I am just pretty confident in my shop as they really deal with SD all the time and have nothing but success so far at this point and no one running the setup I am going to has had a issue from them yet. The only differance is the others are on a Big Frame turbo and I am going to be on a FP Red. Then again unlike Rock I am only 20-25 minutes from my tuner so I can just go there or have them come to me if something goes real bad.

I hope you get what you wish for but I know you will be happy as long as you get close to it at least.

Close to it would be ok but not ideal. NO offense i was never planning on spending this much money and time i just wanted a evo to jazz up exterior get some bolt ons maybe turbo upgrade and have one just to have one. Only because it started acting up in 5 gear and i had not shop and the dealer botched the job was i like screw it I want it all out so I can start over. So long as the numbers I have in my head are lets say 0-10 whp off i can live with that but anymore and I will not be happy on any level.

The IAT (GM) is tapped into the spare ecu *input* not the actual fuel temp sensor... as there is none...

I'm not sure how a tune can "fail" unless there is a mechanical problem or the tune was so far off the fuel trims get all jacked up and make the car hard to drive.

Be careful of your frequent broad incorrect statements...
