it'll burn oil regardless, just check oil frequently, like every time you fill her up. New motors will burn some oil its normal, especially race motors that are built with loose tolerances. My issue wasn't even the motor, was more so the stock ventilation system. while JMS has your car have them drill a bigger hole in the valve cover, the stock ones only 5/16 its to small, you will run into crankcase issues.

Im sure they can do it easily. Or you can do it when you get it back. the more it vents the happier the motor is. you no longer have a normal evo, more so a race car, which will require things other evo's dont. theres quite a lot of built evos these days, so its great we can all help each other out. if you want more info about this you can pm me.

Makes no sense or have I ever heard of such a thing. There are cars on the road that are SD so what they need to be tuned every season. I have seen severl SD cars here and the only thing is a good tune will be what you need. So please supply proff of a 4 season area needing a tune each season.

maf still needs tuned different from 40F to 80F. Stock ecu doesn't have good enough correction tables to compensate. SD is the same as MAF, except SD may require VE table adjustments based on your elevation levels.

There is a Relative Air Density vs. Temp for Airflow/Hz table that you can dial in as the temps change, to keep the AFR in the ball park. Might be hard to get it right without driving the car in different conditions, but the correction table is there. I just keep tweaking mine as the weather changes. I don't drive my car when it's below 35 or so though simply because it's not a daily and I don't have winter tires.
