Rockmanx Fp Black Complete Build thread.
haaaaaaaaaa cant let them do that right now LOL. i wanna be the first to run it down LOL i told my goals for a track run are a joke 10.9 is all i require lol just want a 10 second car haaa and a slip to prove it LOL.
never launched the evo being honest since I got the car had issues since day 1 been building it I have not enjoyed it like everybody else I put only 5k miles on oem motor in two years going on 3 so its spent most its life sitting to be honest. So I want to be first one to run it and actually finally enjoy this car instead of just paying a carnote for something that just draining my bank account

Well be careful and take it slowly then... That is plenty of Tq and power to handle when driving not even launching... If your not experienced launching an AWD car you can easily bow the t-case, tranny, and clutch...
clutch brand tranny tc fine I'll rarely launch the car to be honest. Only at track and that will be rare
agreed if he just lets the clutch out bye bye transmission and transfercase and clutch lol. need to slowly slip the clutch.
from me doing it on my car in kill mode in backroads i can say the 1-2 shift is the hardest to get right. you have to shift to 2nd as 1st is still spinning and must hit it just right or you will bog it.

really? interesting. if i wait to late to shift it will bog tho. so it must be timed just right after the spin? the thing is my car doesn't just spin first it acts like a FWD and slams the limiter when leaving at 5800rpm. i have a evo 9 first gear so i go to about 50mph in first and it doesnt get traction ever it seems from a launch. how much different is this on a prepped track?
I used to smack the hell out of my limiter until I started raising my rev limit. I can imagine yours spins worse since you have a stroker. They evos I seen broke on a prepped track. Every car is different tho so if doing it your way works for you then I wouldnt change what works.
its never been to a track before, but hopefully the spin isnt as bad and i can get a good 1-2 shift. i have only launched the car about 6-10 times since i built it. hopefully the clutch doesnt explode
i really only want a 140mph trap not that interested in ET really.

ha ha I would suggest not going ***** out on the first launch then just to get a feel for how sticky the track is. What clutch are you running?
How sticky your tires are and pressure will play apart too
