I had my doubts but I figured worst case scenario I can always go smaller. I'm sure this time next year CBRD and FP will be going ball bearing with their stock frame variants.

I got a few other "trick" things up my sleeve but when I post my build thread when its done you guys will see the evolution.....pun intended.

 

i say build it only once. the fp black will have enough lag for me from that point its only about downsizing to get a smaller turbo or faster spool and get less hp but im already close to the point of not spending any more money on this whip. just really want to get rims for sure and a repaint to be honest. I rather wait till i pay it off then do more to it if i keep it or if i get a stupid deal on a built tranny or TC maybe then but im not going to go out my way. rather switch gears and start to spend money on getting the new apt hooked up to be honest. Car is already beastly as it sits now

 

I saw this video this morning and thought it was really cool. Great concept and I hope they actually make it. the problem with the the eclipses was its very difficult to turbo them. Forget about the v6 version unless you want to make a bunch of custom parts and shift things around in the enginebay on top of that the ecu its a biatch. Yes I know they make a rips supercharger for them but most of us prefer a turbo option to make real power. This would be a welcome edition and I could get a eclicpse like this and avoid a evo X

Too bad it will never look like that and will not have a turbo. I used to love eclipses.

 

you are correct sir on all counts. if they made that it would be worth it to buy and NOT mod period maybe some rims but thats it. Never going to happen

 

I saw this Eclipse at MOD in Normal Ill last year. Nice but I wouldnt buy one.

Yeah yeah yeah......and it only took a series of BOGUS calls and the BS call on Pierce and putting him out of the game (The league will reverse that last technical). Y'all know the ref's handed them that game because Pierce was heating up.

It is what it is. Hopefully the heat can beat them straight up fairly. I'd be surprised if the heat won next game.

Nope its coming to together right now. Going by the machine shop to check on things and get an ETA. Added some other stuff to my order with MAP so I'm waiting on a call back (The started ordering stuff last week). Finalizing 2 deals I have for injectors and custom rear seats on this site. Gotta call Mitsubishiparts.net when I get home and gruppe-s to finalize some stuff for them. Waiting on some pics and a call back from JesseB so I can pay that off today as well.

Once all the stuff is ordered its sit and wait time. Once I get everything in to complete the motor then its just waiting for the rest of the stuff and then finding time to have a friend help me put everything together (Really he's the genius so it'll be me being the shop grease monkey and trying to learn).

Debating on a few last minute details (Teetering on ordering a V Mount Voltex wing and a few other asthetics) but Hopefully everything will be running by end of the month. Debating on tuning possibilities.

You know that was no headbutt. James Jones is taking acting lessons from my man Derek Fisher. Its ok. Series is only going to get better. Tonight the Lakeshow will take care of business against Allas (No D) and Chicago will get a little scared by the Hawks.

LOL...You know what Rock. I can't say anything. I didn't expect the heat to be up 2. The Lakers are being the Lakers, ,meh........they always give you a damn heart attack. Dallas can't beat them in 7 games.

I was debating on the wing. I bought a few other "limited in quantity" items so no wing. And no.....I've never been a fan of bodykits so that won't happen. Tell you the honest truth I'm on the fence about the wing. Never liked that style before but I have a few friends with them and its growing on me.

For the price of that damn wing I need to be ABSOLUTELY certain its what I want.......I'm on the fence so that can wait. Honestly I think I'm kinda done with the mods for this year. Lotta money spent.

I can't wait to post my build thread. So much info on where the car was when I bought it, where I've been with it, and where it is now.
