I am with most of you guys this hobby is great and all but the money I have spent when i think about it i get sick. So far my build has been going fine, going for the 1st tune next week since the build I hope I dont run into anymore major issues

nope never said that i asked why do people part it out. I would not be parting it out. Selling it whole fresh if I did. Nothing wrong with seeing offers. Wow. I feel like i need to see my project through. I just want to enjoy life. LOL. Its so funny how this can go from fun to almost like a obligation/liability and you not even realize when that happened.
I put everything on paper and it made me almost throw up. Now I understand why my wife is always *****ing about my car.

Either way it'd be nice to see you drive it for a while after spending so much time and money on it.

And if you never said it then I'm saying it. Why do Evo owners sell their monsters after having them built?

Is it sticker shock after the dream is realized or is it that once you get where you want to go you realized you went to far (I'm straddling that line right now).

I feel the same way kinda/sorta... i set my mind on building a Highway Monster. I have now come to realize that may not be the best build. I do feel like i have a obligation to finish it through though.

Maybe ill just bite the bullet and stroke the motor instead of doing a LR2.0

 

I agonized for 6 months trying to decide what motor setup to go with. Ultimately I settled on a 2.4LR since i wanted to run a big turbo that spooled as close to a FP Black as possible while still being able to rev it out like a 2.0

smurf youll be happy with anything you go with trust me.. wait till i post this LR 2.4 i just did on a hta86.. the spool is crazy and it made 700whp+

Yes, I was to that point. I shouldve stopped about 15k ago, but hindsight is 20/20. I wasted so much time and so much money, only to have things half assed, and have things break that werent meant to be broken.

Ive got other things going on in my life right now, like trying to graduate, that take the front seat now. I've got two summer classes to complete, then I will finally have that expensive piece of paper with my name on it.

Ya, I just couldnt win with that car.

 

I hope so. Been waiting a while. I hope its all worth it. Who knows maybe if some of our regular stock frame offerings go ball bearing I may step down a bit if I get tired of the power.

Looking for the post of the dyno.

I run E primarily so I'm hoping for anything with good response and over 650. I'll take what I can get SAFELY. LOL.

 

All of my 2.4 and 5 speed swap parts will be here in under a week :-/.

Used shortblock, used built 5 speed, used clutch (getting rebuilt), all with low miles.

It's the only way i could afford it. My goal is 550/500 daily with an FP black, so I'm not pushing any limits here.
