It's a JMS shorblock , they are tearing apart and having to start from scratch and assembling it. It's a good thing though, that way there are no problems down the road. Eitherway, it's going to be a beast with the FP black that's for sure.....
Yea man, you def did your homework and got some great deals!
Remember we talked about your parts on the Z.......now that you posted the pics, it's the same exact kit a local custom dropped off. That intercooler is heavy!!

If you order it, you can have it shipped straight to me if you would like

my exact plan to ship it straight to ya. ok cool ill have you coat the headers and maybe hotside of turbos on that kit. they are all attacted together anywho LOL. I would stay down there for the Z completion so that one will go faster then the evo build lol. technically they are just cleaning the block and then putting it back together and adding arp main studs thats it lol. and i brought the block. so not like i dropped my car off and said order everything cut the block get pistons crank rods bearing etc. so i cant call it a jms block its a motor rx block jms assembled hows that

I found out the engine finally made it to Buschur for the upgraded 10:1 piston setup, looking forward to getting it back. I have an upcoming dyno event in Kansas I want to make.

2.3 is nice, it spools my fp black by 3800 rpm. That asside i will not get a 2.3 ever again either, because they arent as smooth as a 2.0 and cant rev as high. im happy with my 2.3 tho so far. Good choice on Buschur

naa for a street car 2.3 all day long. if your a dragster then yup 2.0 or 2.1. i dont mind the thread topic change for a bit as parts are getting coated and waiting for the block to get cleaned anywho. why not just pay the money and get a 2.2 then if you feel that way. AMS should not be the sole reason to not get a 2.3 again. LOL heck if i cant sell my shortblock after awhile i might build it into a 2.0 just for the heck of it as a back up. then again i rather get rid of it. man i love not doing core charges

I just dont like stroker motors. Its a daily driver that I drag race. I like to have to option to rev high if I need to
