Well the idea is you get a more stable boost curve due to keeping the exhaust streams seperate. And also gain power because of less back pressure. And in turn hold more boost because you don't have the back pressure fighting the wastegate to open up under high hp.

As far as any of that actually showing itself in higher numbers, not sure yet I guess.

If back-pressure on the wastegate flapper/passage was actually an issue you'd be able to hold MORE boost in the form of boost-creep

It is possible the dump will get you a more stable boost curve though, and essentially less overall exhaust back-pressure which in theory could help your top-end power, but with Buschur's 3" vs .3.5" exhaust piping on a ~700whp car showing no real gains I frankly doubt it.

Either way, your car is going to put down some damn impressive results! I'm really looking forward to seeing what that EF4 can do since the EF3 has already proven itself locally here.

Here is where we ended today...it broke up ignition wise up top but then we had oil everywhere. My shop is thinking a line, fitting or maybe worst case scenario the crank seal. Basically something on the timing cover side, which is like everything, appears to have leaked oil onto the belts which flung oil all over. Car is still running good though and they need to get it all cleaned up and find the leak. Hopefully I have it back next week.

We took it easy for the most part on the tune (don't need a repeat repeat). I think 6 degrees of timing at peak torque and 15 or so up top. The WGA seems to be a weak point here, it remind me of the FP 18psi. So I will be talking with MAP about that.

The turbo flows very well and can spool very well. We had to dial spool back A LOT!!!! We first saw 20psi at 3100 rpms, that is stock turbo spool. But we got compressor surge or something and had to dial mivec way back so you could even get enough fuel in there. It sucks a bit because I can't utilize the extra compression fully but oh well, its a nice setup I think.

Mainly all that is left on the tune is to fight the boost control to where we want it. We were aiming for 28psi.

PS: THANK YOU GOLDEN! We didn't have the newest omni 4bar scalings for psi boost control but got it off your website. You da man.

Game ON soon

Well, I worked through a lot this year so far...

yet another new CMC, like my 5th one, brakes, suspension, all sorts of tuning issues, fuel pressure problems etc etc.

Car is running like a dream now!

Latest...

That makes the AFR curve look choppier than it is, here is a better version.

Tuning is still going on and I am on real E85 for the first time in 2 years now. Car is feeling solid again finally

Congrats on breaking that 600+ hp mark you set earlier in this thread. The graph looks very nice and smooth. Any video of the most recent dynos?
