Haha!

These goodies arrived today including the oil pump in the box under the ARP flywheel bolts and a new lower timing cover cause mine was all broken and nasty.

Next weekend I'll be headed down to the machine shop to assemble the engine and asst with building another for my friend.

I will also de-burr the oil pump and make any modifications my friend thinks should be done. I will be sure to take lots of pictures of that and document online for anyone to see.

Along with that I will be getting the suggestions on where to baffle the oil pan and I will show that as well.

My goal is at least have the car running and tuned on pump gas for my birthday which is December 27th, I talked to the fabricator and getting the turbo kit together should take 2-3 weeks total.

So the parts that I still need and/or work that needs done is as follows.
-Assemble short block
-finish port and polish on head
-order valves and drop off head for head work
-order clutch
-install engine and trailer to fabricator
-pick up from fabricator
-install turbo kit, intercooler, radiator, hook up all lines and electrical sensors,
-fire up engine, break-in for 200 miles, tune for pump gas

It's coming together! Can't wait for the end result. Btw, not to hijack your thread, since you are going to order a clutch, I have a Brand Spanking New Exedy Triple Carbon for sale if you're interested. We can work something out. I needed the money now to pay off my Shep's bill. Lmk.

Pm me and we can talk even though I was pretty set on the new comp twin I'll consider other stuff. Maybe you need some parts I'm selling too haha.

Another small thing I wanted to add. This is what my engine builder came up with on matchbot for the turbo.

Well finished the short block assembly this past sunday. Since it was our first 2.4 4g64 build we ran into a few issues and learned some things, but otherwise it came out awesome.

Should be picking up a few parts on black friday and order the valves next week. I want to have the head ported by next weekend as well so machine work can begin once the valves come in.

Thanks for all the support and interest.

It's looking good. May I ask what were some of the issues that you ran into being that it is a 2.4L that one would not run into being a 2.0L?

bump for a poll added. Trying to figure out what to do on the wing front.

No progress otherwise, job has been hell and holidays of course threw a wrench into things.
