I need to grab from the house and bring back to the shop.

Will try my hardest to do it up in the next week or two and post up about the whole thing on here.

Well finally got some time to work on it.

Here is the oil pump treatment. I deburred between the teeth on both gears on the out edges, it required a very small carbide bit and a steady hand. I then used medium grit buff wheels to polish the gear face on both sides along with the teeth faces.

On the housing I just removed some flash in the passages and deburred and sanded the outlet edge that is pictured. Its too late but I really like what R/T did on his engine block with polishing up the passages.

Also to answer the last question I got the turbo from my buddy who got from a suby guy on nasioc.

Stay tuned for more updates soon to come, car should be done fairly soon.

Bump for some updates finally.

Got the transmission cleaned up and painted.

Painted the oil pan.

Got the valve cover back.

Still trying to figure out the problem with the castle plug on the front cover. Seems its no normal bolt cause everything I use won't let it screw down far enough. So obviously its gonna **** oil every where. Soon as I get that figured out everything is getting put on the motor, I'm going to paint the block, clutch will get mounted, and transmission will be bolted to it and dropped into the car.

That just leaves getting the manifold, downpipe, and new IC pipes fabbed up. Then I should be able to fire it up.
