Cool thanks, it looks like they have an aftermarket option for a ring and pinion

Ok so yesterday I installed a Weir 12 plate rear diff kit, and replaced the rear diff, mustache bar, and trailing ARM bushings with new energy poly's, and installed the rear Whiteline sway bar. Sure seems to make a difference, if you are picky about noise you won't like this diff, its loud. If you want a diff that will lock up its great so far, locks under power and unlocks like it should, I can't wait to get it out to the track again.

Also thought I would give an update on the 12 plate rear, its much quieter now that I've driven it a ways, u can still feel and hear it from time to time but its hardly anything to fuss about, so I would recomend it to anyone.

Looks like the oil was run low in the t-case, the bearings have a nice color. The ring and pinion are definately toast. These bearings are reiculously hard to get a hold of.

Looks like Jacks is the only place that will sell the transfer case bearings. I can't believe that you can call someone like Sheps or AWD and they will tell you that they have them but wont sell them to you. I know that they are rare but if some one wants to buy them why keep them on the shelf? When I need a tranny Jacks will be getting my business.

You just answered your own question. They are rare and they use them to BUILD T-cases. If they sell their stock of parts and run out, their business doesn't make money.

Either way, subscribed ;-)

I'm saying if they have a supplier that they can get them from the least they could do is direct me to them, that use to be comin practice.

I got a rebuild kit from Meek automotive in Australia, unfortunately they are not in the US but they had what I needed to rebuild the transfer case. I hope this helps someone. http://www.meek.com.au/index.php?act...&productId=396

I just ordered a new quartermaster twin clutch and will no longer need my act, if anyone needs one let me know both clutch and flywheel balenced together less than 2K miles on friction disc. It's a sprung 6puck.

I'll get picks of the new one up when it comes in.

I felt the at the pedals where a little slick at the track, it was a wet day. and that all my heal toe practice was useless because my running shoe i normally wear was much wider than my race shoes so I got these to help out.
