Gotpsi? build thread

Hi there just bought my evo with a bad engine, so I pulled the engine out last weekend and ordered up all new parts for a 2.3l, also supertech springs and retainers kelford 270s, fluid damper, 1200cc injectors. the car already has a full 3" exhaust and down pipe, as well as a walburo 255 FP. most of the rest is stock it seems. and am now looking for a turbo. If you have one for sale let me know, Im looking for something like a red or a EF3 possibly. And a 02 housing for the build.

I originally bought the car for a daily driver and for my wife to track, but I decided to sell my race car since I wont have time to rebuild it anytime soon. So this car will be a dual purpose car for me. Ive already talked to the guys who built my last set of coilovers and they are going to custom build some ohlins for me. I am going to replace all the bushings with polly when the coilovers go on. Ive decided aginst spherical mods because it will be a street car and derlin wears out to fast for daily use. My question is what sway bars work best for a weekend track car? I want to get everything at once and just get it done.

I will post up pics as the build progresses, for now the engine will be first, followed my the suspension once its up and running and all the bugs are worked out. The transfer case is making the wining noise so Im thinking of putting a wavetrac diff in when I rebuild it during the suspension stage. Any opinions on the diff choice?

Just thought I would add that I just bought a FP red from a member on here so that will be the turbo run with the new engine!

Having a lift makes it so much easier! I enjoy being able to use the ones at my shop! Good looking car and keep the pics coming with your progress. you should have some great torque and quick spool. should be a awesome street car!

Just got the turbine housing and manifold back from being ceramic coated, the machine shop says they will be done this week, my new intercooler will be here Friday, and this came today with the addapters for my 1200cc injectors. It's a full 3".
