Extreme Tuners U.S. Evo Build
I suffered from my destroked engine and gt45r. I think you even could not image how its difficult to run with turbo more than 42R. The launch is so hard, there is not any sense in the TC because you can have either wheel spinning or lagy like "be-be-be"... What turbo do you use before this one?
I personally can't wait to hear how this goes once its up and running and tuned, and let the owner tell us what it drives like. I'm guessing its going to be driveable, but no more exciting than your typical econobox for most driving conditions - which is still a damn sight better than many others who have >1000hp cars which are either in the garage, on a trailer, or on the track.
Mr Graphite has the option of lurking around with this monster, and getting an open piece of road - shifting down a few gears and riding a wave of lag which will eventually lead to some of the biggest hp/litre ever seen from a road car, or going to a drag event and (admittedly this will be Russian roulette) POTENTIALLY running mental times and then driving home.
Hats off for engaging in such an ambitious project, I hope you giving a us a good speel on how you find it once you've driven it

Just saw this thread. Very exciting project.
Thanks to the OP for sharing.

Compliment to Spyros for being innovative and trying new things. I look forward to the results. I hope you both achieve your goals.
Can we nickname this project "Malaka Evo"?

I say that the bigger turbo does not mean that you will faster. One of client removed 3586 and installed GTX4294R with Tial and he became faster GSXR after 300-340))), but earlier he was faster till 250. The same car, the same turbo...
He could not catch moto(not 500hp) because of big lag of the new turbo, but it can bit 350km/h very easy))). Please choose what you need))).

Keep in mind: with small engine and big turbo your runs will depend on the start and very fast precise shifting. The life of high rev engine is much shorter than 2.3 for example.

I'm as excited for this car to be at the shootout. I think everyone will want a piece of this cars ***. Especially the big shop evos. Either way this years shootout should be great. Any thoughts on a completion date?
It all depends on the funds. As of right now, I doubt it will be ready for this years Shootout, for sure by next year though.
Joe has nothing to worry as matter lag etc. we take care of this.
Joe wants a really fast car. No matter if his comp wheel will be 60 or 90mm.
We have test any setup and we know every aspect.
