I don't even care about a quarter million dollar EVO build...
I want to see a typical EVO setup with a cam change. Or a turbo change. Or a manifold change. Just one part at a time and see if their parts work.
Just based on the types of dynos they are using and the correlation between the claimed HP numbers and a few times that have been mentioned, I think their power figures are about 20%-25% too high for what the cars are actually doing.
That doesn't change the fact they have some pictures of some cool **** though and I'm still interested in what they are doing.

True, but the mph is nuts! Plus it's refined performance! You know that! Evo is a bad@ss car for sure! But there's nothing like getting in your gt2! Refined performance! Supercar!
Yes after a while you get spoiled by displacement.. I do enjoy the GT2 for the fact i can just step on it in 2nd and go right into 4th and get on the highway without having to wind out the car always.. its a different feeling with a 3.6L and of course the V10 lambos and 4.0L GTRs are amazing.. there is still no real replacement for displacement.. those big motor cars on boost are nuts..
I respect that, but from a 60-200 roll I think the outcome may be a bit different. The TTG is not built to be a drag car. But still 9.1@177 on street tires is very impressive.
you ever try gearing an evo for 200 and finishing under 11k rpm??? 9.05 on skinny street tires is pretty amazing too.. remember gallardos can run tires 12"+ wide..
i dont know who your referring to but im asking for my self. how do you plan something and have no proof? no proof then it didnt happen.
The point is you can build a turd to run 8s if you want. Its all about what you want and how far you are willing to go to make it happen. Some people like doing it in econobox Evos. Others like tearing down 100k and 200k cars and turning them into race cars to do the same thing.

i love his evo too and from are convo's the car has the ability to do low 180s high 7s. he just needs that right day and some track prep. last he told me he was farting with the suspension some to help
ya his evos insane.. its very consistent also. from what i heard/seen he is a really nice guy.. he goes out of his way to help customers. he offered to fix my friends cracked bellhousing on his transmission for free just because he knew one of his previous customers well.
