Extreme Tuners U.S. Evo Build
I think in one of his shop pics he has a usdm evo with new York plates at his shop already.. Doesn't make sense to ask to ship his entire car, plus if I were Joe I would like to see all the parts before assembly to know that he got exactly what he paid for? I saw another post in the other thread about some of the other cars and possible failures, but in a way it does confirm that they are building these cars, and the stuff is out there? Idk.. Hopefully Joe will get a solid answer soon, especially with all this tension going on.
With Greece teetering and close to sending the world into a great depression mark II I wouldn't send anything there....
I'd like to see this car together though but I think shipping a car there is a step too far.
Send the parts and fly Spyros out to the states, that would probably work out cheaper

Can you not get your money back at this point? Did you purchase parts on a CC?
Sending your car to Greece, you have got to be F&^%ing kidding me?? Between the other thread and the fake welding pics now this.
Looks like another vendor we need to get the hell off this site

To ship a car to Greece from New York costs 2000-2500 usd...
Why would someone would want to go into this process and possibly have issues with customs there and here when the car comes back...

Why would anyone send a car to a vendor that has given them NO REASON TO TRUST THEM.
From another country and you want to send your car to BR, ER, CBRD, etc.......You can feel comforted by the fact these shops actually exist.
ET operates in a vacuum where NO ONE HAS SEEN THEIR PARTS BEING USED.

I hope it all works out ok for you in the end!
As there's obviously a good sum of money involved, I concur with the idea. Too, consider that some recourse could only be had on Greek soil via the Greek legal system. Hopefully it won't come down to this, but if it does, one would be in a much better position to follow though.
Spyros, are you seeing any of this? Do you realize what is happening to your business and its reputation? Do you have any idea how quickly this can make its way around the 'net? Trust flows both ways. Gotta do something right now.
You would be crazy to ship the car to Greece. Support a local shop in the US if you're having a shop build it
STM, AMS, Buschur, Boostin Performance, CBRD, English Racing, are all pretty good to name a few...

All I hope is that either he gets his parts or he gets his money back and not next year. I know I would prefer the money, cos who knows how the parts will work...
Good luck Joe all of the evom community is behind you on this one for sure...
Don't ship your car, man. I'm sorry. This is a terrible spot to be in, but I'd demand a refund. If they can't accommodate, you know they likely can't get your car going and then ship it back. Time to cut your losses.
Showing up at the shop, although an entertaining notion accomplishes nothing. Without your car, best case scenario you can shake hands then ship your car. That's a lot of money to spend to confirm or deny suspicions. That's *if* it goes well. If it doesn't, then what? Get wrapped up in a Greek lawsuit with no understanding of the legal system, with no lawyer, and every day out there costing you money? If you can afford to fight it on principle, hats off to you. Show up to his shop and he's not legit? There's no telling what you are getting in to.

Well..............all I have to say is you'd be a complete fool to send your car there. There is absolutely NO reason to need the car. You'd not only be out whatever money you have spent, you'd also be missing an EVO.
I think I called it early on with this guy. Sorry you fell for it.
