I have seen one that looks similar not sure if its the same size but that was on SpeedTech Motorsports (STM) Project DS9 which had a GT45 and rev'd to 11k and full boost not until like 7.5k. That was however solely for drag racing and breaking the 1/4 record. On the street however is a totally different ball game.

Good luck to you sir...

It will be a street/strip car so it will still be visiting the strip every other weekend at least. Thanks

I think your car will be not reliable. It will be not street car as we keep it in mind. It's life will be from one engine or transmission failure to other. I have own drag Evo and client's fast Evos and know how they live and die. AMS dry sump is very bad choice, Wilwood brake kit only for 1 braking with parachute-its too small for street car like yours. I had them in my drag car. I wish the best for your project as well!.

I'm not doing an AMS dry sump, not for street use. I'm using E.T. wet sump pan as you can see in the photos.

The brake kit is the Rally kit not Drag kit so it can still be used on the street and allow for 15" wheels at the strip.

I figured they wouldn't either but like you said some people still will and when someone does beat me, it's time for an upgrade

Holy wtf on the size of that turbo lol... are you really going to run a front-mount turbo with no filter on the street? Aren't you worried about debris? I wish you luck man, this car should surprise a lot of people, assuming they don't look through the front grill and see the turbo the size of a motor.

It'll have a filter, don't worry, and it will be painted black so it won't be so obvious

I suffered from my destroked engine and gt45r. I think you even could not image how its difficult to run with turbo more than 42R. The launch is so hard, there is not any sense in the TC because you can have either wheel spinning or lagy like "be-be-be"... What turbo do you use before this one?

I personally can't wait to hear how this goes once its up and running and tuned, and let the owner tell us what it drives like. I'm guessing its going to be driveable, but no more exciting than your typical econobox for most driving conditions - which is still a damn sight better than many others who have >1000hp cars which are either in the garage, on a trailer, or on the track.

Mr Graphite has the option of lurking around with this monster, and getting an open piece of road - shifting down a few gears and riding a wave of lag which will eventually lead to some of the biggest hp/litre ever seen from a road car, or going to a drag event and (admittedly this will be Russian roulette) POTENTIALLY running mental times and then driving home.

Hats off for engaging in such an ambitious project, I hope you giving a us a good speel on how you find it once you've driven it
