Project: Evo IX RS Track Car
Little update...
Hood and doors are on. These doors are going to be a lot more work then thought. They fit great but the thickness of the inner panel vs that of the steel door means all the bolts, clips, and other hardware fits a bit different. I'll put it this way, the door handle and mirror took the better part of 2 hours to get to fit properly.
I also attempted to use my new Eastwood fender roller... I'm not going to show pics of that! haha It may need a little more work.

Tre max lock rear diff, have tre rebuild the trans, and buy some ohlins dfvs or jrz Rs pros. Gtworx can get you either of those shocks. Whiteline rck kit and rear trailing arm bushings to boot. Retune via ecuflash, Then go drive it!
Very interested in your build. I was in the same boat, but I don't have the DIY skills like you. I have found a track prepped car, but it's costing me. I know I am in it less than I could have it built for me. It's 2850lbs with full cage. It's not official yet, but I am very excited to close the deal and get out on track early 2013. I think it will do great at Hallett and ECR. Looks like yours will be too! Good luck with build. I am cheering you on from afar.
