SwissMTNAlien's 2011 Evo X MR
Thanks! I love the Do-Luck also... looks better painted with just a subtle amount of carbon showing IMO.
Already thinking about getting some AST coilovers and possibly some aggressive 19'' wheels (Considering 19x10.5 Advan RG-D, 19x10 Enkei RPF1, or possibly some Volks). I have to get the turbo kit here and on first, haha.

Found a great deal on some 18x10.5 +27 Volk G2 wheels in Gloss Black. These are forged and very light (~19 lbs). Mark at RavSpec got them to me fast and I'm excited to get them on. I will probably leave the 10mm spacers on which would make these wheels 18x10.5 with a +17 offset. If it rubs a lot then I'll take the spacers off.

I also updated the first post with more information about parts that are on the way.

want to sell the wedsports? I like the car I have the same in the grs form. I do not like your turbo choice I have never been impressed with that turbo average numbers and not great spool. Maybe you will prove me wrong.
ETS basic turbo kit comes with a journal bearing 5858 which would spool slower but I upgraded to ball bearing and the smaller hotside for quicker spool (Michael at ETS recommended it over the 30r).
I am going to sell the Wedsports but I have recently curbed two wheels (bad week
) so I am probably going to have the curb rash fixed and have them powdercoated before I sell them so I can get more $$$.
it was the older version 5857. in t3 from the 6266, 6466 seems to do well but the stock frame turbos seem to out do anything smaller then that. Just from what I have seen in the past. Maybe the newer version will be better. Sucks on the curb rash thats my next set of wheels I like the wedsports allot.

1.) The power curve on a T3 setup is better than stock location replacement turbos (peak numbers aren't everything)
2.) ETS turbo location prevents overheating and is more efficient
3.) Much easier to make more power in the future if I decide I need it instead of having to eventually buy a whole T3 kit anyways.
I could have the wheels powdercoated a specific color if you wanted the Weds? I am probably going to have them powdercoated Satin Black and then list them for sale. They will look as good as new since the powdercoater fixes the rash before he coats the wheels.

very good job SwissMTNAlien,
Cost apart, why don't go for a t3 ts on your evo x? you can use 0.82 a/r with similar spool of 0.63 ss and a better top end.
Btw i'm agree with you about t3 instead ot stock location turbo.
Greetings from italy

Well, if cost was not a factor then I would indeed go with a twin scroll setup (along with some JRZ coilovers, cams, and a built motor, haha). However, I am not looking for a HUGE horsepower beast and I couldn't justify spending the extra money for a twin scroll. I was already spending more than I wanted by upgrading to the T3 kit over a stock location turbo (I originally planned on getting a MAP EF2).

Btw nice job!
