Nothing better then coming home from work and realizing all your time was well spent! FP Fairy came by and delivered my cams FP5R cams

Thankfully These are the last needed item to complete the longblock. Still need some odds and ends but everything is pretty much wrapped up motorwise! Next on the list is the turbo and fabwork.

I would be curious in seeing the process for validating the head can handle those cams. I know FP is very particular about checking and verifying valve train measurements. I got in two sets of fp4r cams on Friday so it's good to see you got yours too.

Before the head was ported the specs were giving to the machine shop so they were aware of the measurements of these big boys. So it should not be a issue

I was going to go with another companys cams, but since the specs where "top secret" I decided not to use them. Would my piston dishes have enough clearance for the valves using the perticular cam? Most likely, but I wanted to make sure they everything was spot on so went with the FP5RS.

Actually this has been underwraps until now but I am switching to a 6466 Im good friends with Reid from Sound Performance they do alot of testing on Precision tubros. He informed me to hold off just a bit before actually biting the bullet on the 6766. They had a new turbo coming out that might better suite my needs. Once I found out about the testing that was done on his personal car I was shocked. The 6466 spools up quicker while also putting out more power and more tq while the boost and tune remains the same +14hp/8tq over the 6766!

Needless to say I think I have fallen in love
Ball Bearing T4 6466 .84 a/r v-band out

^^6466 is engraved in the housing sorry for the horrible pic
Next up...start fabbing up the FF manifold this weekend

Awesome, I was so tempted to pull the trigger on the 6466 but didn't want to without any results on an Evo. I got a smoking deal on the 3794 that I couldn't pass up, that's pretty awesome that it spools earlier, makes more torque, and slightly more power. Have your cake and eat it too

The 3794 is a great turbo as well insane et's and traps have been netted from it. Devin went 8.6s and a best trap of 170 on that turbo. Your cars gunna sprout wings!

Its on a Supra but same concept. I think its capable of sum 9sec passes with a solid trap speed. I guess we will see what happens
