This is nothing like most of the awesome builds on here which I admire and keeps me motivated but after having Hondas for the past 7 years, I have crossed over to the Mitsubishi camp for a new challenge.

Now on to some photos. Starting point:
- I got looking at how he had his vacuum lines hooked up and noticed the wastegate, Boost-controller and blow-off valve were running off the same source. I got it sorted out and the car did run better.

- My Asian buddy who use to drive the most riced out integra years ago has been telling me he is going to a sports car. I guess he has been really saving his money. Paid in full (title in his name ha) 13 GTR Black Edition: shipping - tax - reg - etc etc.... 120k He tells me why mess around and waste all your money, just buy one from the factory ready to go. Car is simply amazing.

- Rent out this storage unit by a apartment complex for $90 a month, power included. I got lucky and scored this unit. Mine had been isolated and the second biggest out of the other 6. This is pretty much where all my stuff is and like it here instead of being at my house. I like to keep a clean shop and know where my stuff is at. Not enough room for two so i took my other project to my house.

- After researching and measuring I started working on doing AN for the coolant lines. With no luck on finding 14mm x 1.5 to -8AN banjo I found it only to -6AN ebay. These will be running off my Turbo

- Ordered weld on -6AN for my thermostat housing.

- Maybe there was an easier way but I had to sand down the hardline to get the 3/8 tube sleeve to go on. Running an 3/8 to -6AN tube nut.

- Through the week parts were showing up. One of them i was surprise to see so soon. That would be the JDM double din. I ordering it just before i got my car. Coming from Japan figured I would get it on the way. I been checking out everyones interior set up and really like the triple gauge pod where the radio goes. That will probably be my next set up.

Speed in Vegas. The cars tune was really off from what he saw. He got it dialed in and was happy with how it ran. Now that its winter again

- Started the "Tear down" on my car. As I was removing parts I was also checking clearances on some of the stuff I am going to redo.

- Like I posted earlier, my Radiator Fan was sticking out too far and wouldn't fit my intake pipe between the fan and lower radiator hose. Thinking that I might need to ditch the Injen one and build a new 3in one.

- Once I got my turbo off the manifold I noticed how off the ports was. Went to our local auto parts store and bought some cheap steel bits which was a complete waste of money. Should of known better, its not worth going cheap. Went back and bought a Carbide bit.

After getting a Civic fan/shroud from Mishimoto modified to fit on my radiator, I wasn't too sure if I could get it to work how it was intend to. I got my intake to temporally fit by running the fan on the inside of the shroud. It doesn't help how Injen has a weird shape in there pipe.

You can see even the way I mounted it, it was still rubbing on the lower rad hose and on the backside of the fan cover.


Started shaving whatever I could to narrow it down.


Clearly this isn't gonna be enough. Started looking at the fan and noticed how there was a plate between the backside of the motor and mishimoto cover. Between that and shaving down the mounting post that's about 3/4 of an inch more for clearance.


Feel pretty good about fitting a new intake with this clearance.

- Never liked how Mishimoto's overflow fitting went straight out. Wanting to do it in an Earls or russels fitting but I had to go from a 1/16 to an 1/8 NPT. Ordered a 1/8NPT - 90degree - 1/4 Barb fitting
