well you see the one picture theres a turbo on the car right? thats a fp black ball bearing also, the one i took a picture of on the foam is another fp black ball bearing.. except it has a speed sensor tapped into it. it is just like a rpm tach id imagine.. its very accurate. its just a sensor that reads the blades on the wheel as it spins.

ya your thread is what made me get them to test.

i thought it was the other way around.. i dont know. ive always been able to extract power easier with mivec then without it.

Nice to see you actually spend some time on your own car. You are always so busy tuning everyone. Looking good!

some updates on what im doing.

had injectors checked/cleaned. fic also updated them to their latest new style i guess.. pretty cool. they used to be big fat and teal looking before lol.

not bad running e85 for 3 years and hardly any flow issues at all. i was getting it from amerigreen.

--------------------------------

decided to change some stuff to save rotational mass.. i thought i was gonna end up saving around 28lbs but only came out to 10lbs.. stock rotors were worn to hell!

----------------------------------------------

engine bay as it sits still no transmission!

-----------------------------------------------

also ordered a jdm evo 9 rear bumper will get pics once thats on.

i removed the ac from car.. its pointless. i owned the car for 3 years now or so and never once used the ac.

also removed about 100lbs of random stuff. weight is slowly coming out. car last weigh'ed was 3220lbs .. hopefully i can get it around 3000 flat.

just basic stuff.. nothing abnormal. theres a big list of how to remove weight on a evo on the forum somewhere.

i refuse to remove any kind of sound deadening or safety equipt etc that i utilize when driving the car.

Oh sh*t, finally doing some weight reduction!! Thanks for reminding me, I need to pull my injectors & send them out to FIC. I think one is leaking & giving me some starting issues. You pick up the JDM rear from Driveline? Looking good Tom!

I am a vendor for selling the JDM rear.. if you need one let me know. will hook you up. It comes from the same supplier as them though yes.
