I run the svg 140. Not one hiccup. Takes like 3 extra minutes of commuting before it feels good. Coming from mtl..

i choose the 110 for now. going to break trans in with the 75w90 then drain it. also got a stronger dimple trans plug magnet.. i sell these as well now.. badass magnets. i lifted a 7lb hammer up with them lol. i use them on my oil pan and trans now.

figured id share this. it might help someone else when it comes time to install their trans..

this is the first time i was ever able to put a trans in with zero assistance.. did it all myself.. theres a trick to it with a hoist.. and heres how you do it.

set it up like the picture and work with the hoist and the engine height .. once you get it just right it will slide right in.. i didnt even have to push on it hardly.. it just went right in.

installed it on Saturday last week.

just waiting on 1 more fitting for intake mani then ill put everything together. im gonna get a picture of the f1i beside the stock intake mani before i install it also.. its hilarious how big the f1i is vs the stock intake mani.

Interested to see the gains from the manifold and a real set of cams on this. Any plans on a dyno session on a mustang/dynojet after all the changes?

i am going to road tune it then take it to the track. eventually ill put it back on a dyno to see where its at though. probably CBRD though because they are very local within 15min from me. ill set the smoothing around 1-6 to get a good feedback reading from the car as well.

as far as the parts go, i cant wait to see how it changes the car. im adding more stuff also.. ill update thread as i keep changing / adding stuff.

I've talk to Jon @ TRE hundreds of times on what to run.

This is what I run because of his input.

All Red Line Products

MT-90 in the trans
80W140 Gear oil for the t-case
75W140 Gear Non-slip oil for the Diff

FYI This is a great reference tool I use. http://teamrip.com/manual_transmissi...tion_info.html

Sorry to hijack your thread. Car looks awesome!!

not a problem.. its not hijacking since we were on that subject anyways. i seen that page. he recommends more viscosity for people making in the 600whp+ territory though.

getting something customized from CBRD soon for the car.. a custom radiator that will allow me to do what evodan did with his air filter.. cant wait for that!

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-finished.html

I decided to go this route instead of a FF stock frame manifold because it will allow me to use it for future turbo setups.

no not yet. its still on jackstands haha. customers come first my car comes last.

i did however work on it tonight from 1am to 4am got all the lines and fittings on the f1i and have the f1i mounted right now. test fitted piping etc.. everything is good.

i will update again after i get it all together and when the toxic fab pedal stop comes will throw a pic of that up as well.

im just going to use the stock radiator temp until Chad finishes my bling bling radiator.

Tom,

Since you are on a 2.3 do you have a 4.11fd in your trans?
