I just got done doing final tweaking of the tune for driveability and man SD is so smooth.. its as smooth as the bmw we have now. you cant feel the shifts and the throttle transition is super nice.
no lean dips anymore on take off etc. i set the car on a steep as hell hill and it took right off with next to no throttle pressure. i barely need to even tap the gas now to take off with a exedy triple hd.
set the rpm to idle around 1200 as well. i am not a fan of cam lope. i will get new videos later on.

Haha, I have the weight written down at home, but I wanna say 6lbs or so.
Something else for a little more weight reduction & cleans up the engine bay is remove the PS cooler tube & hard line. You can pull all that crap out & just run a 3/8 fuel line from the bottom of the res to the rack...

LOL. im getting older i guess.
6lb not bad! it doesnt serve any purpose though with assisting in cooling the car off? i see it still turning on.
The PS cooler tube interesting.

Ok read this for a good laugh. I was prepping the car to get ready for the track (last minute like always for some odd reason)..
I left the house by 7PM, normally it should only take about 30min to get to the track.. Well we didn't get there until 9PM like the slip says in the picture ill post at the end of this write up.
I deserve the retard of the year award.. and reason being is, we went 40 miles out of our way because i put in the wrong state into the GPS.. yes that is beyond stupid.
I didnt realize we were going the wrong way until close to 40 miles.. ridiculous. had it set to PA when it was supposed to be MD.
So we arrived at the track at 8:55 and i had the slicks on and stuff by 9:20pm. Track closes at 10.. lol
Someone hits the damn wall at the track! Great..... So i wait in line until 10:15pm to race.. Well I got only 1 pass and it had mistakes in it.. i hit the limiter in 2nd and my shifting was dog crap.
The boost was around 34psi at the strip (also my afr went 11.1-11.2 also from the boost change
). Now im debating on just throwing in the gsc s3 or going back to the strip to see what it can mph at higher boost.
I can get a comparison though between the cams if i keep everthing the same tho and just throw the cams on which i will probably do.. but might visit track this week.. not sure yet.
So below are some unedited videos and the slip and track info. I really hoped for something over 133 but i am happy for now because its the first 10 second pass the car ever made and i made in my life as well. I believe as it sits there is a 10.7 capable pass in there.. weather im able to do that i dont know.. but the shifting in the video below is horrible slow imo.
I was also nervous cause the trans was super notchy.. but seemed great down the track.
I also put in 75w110 before i left and that made it feel a bit better vs the 75w90.

the video is also comical. listen to the comments in it.
also, so you guys don't think im a complete idiot.. i reversed more at the end so i could roll the car forward
and remove the slack from the drivetrain before launching again.

not happy with the MPH, but the boost was way down and real rich afr, so i think ill take it back this weekend and get a better mph.
