does anyone have a picture of what the base plates/floor area looks like after doing so?

It'll look like any other cage as the plate covers the hole.

I painted and sealed the holes from below with window urethane I had left over.

Looking good, You should have him get rid of that dash bar, and incorporate a new chromoly dash bar into the cage, for even more weight savings.

That is something we are going to do in the near future along with a couple other cool things no one has done before

Now that the car has a cage, i'll be able to remove A LOT of weight under interior panels and such as well.

I've been so busy I didn't even get a chance to put the car on a diet. I still can't cut mine up for some reason.

Thanks man. I will talk to him and see when/if he would be up for doing another. He's gotten pretty busy at Moran.

I really don't care if I cut mine up, as long as it doesn't effect anything and you can't visually see it (under interior panels, in the trunk for instance).

Thanks BJ! Might as well remove the hidden weight since it no longer does anything with a cage haha. I'd like to remove the amount of weight the cage adds.

I believe I am getting an aluminum driveshaft as well next week which saves 15lb's in rotational
