Toxicfab Build Top Mount S300
I know someone was curious on how this turbo held up in Autocross.. well to be quick, not well lol. Spoiler Alert-I'm not a good driver.
I'm still just enjoying the car, learning how to tune the best that I'm able to, and learning new techniques, and trying to keep it together for now. The car is an absolute blast to drive and I'm very happy with it so far.
We have a group of us cruising up for 100 acre wood rally in my homeland of Missouri, then right back for TX2K14. Should be a fun year!
Hope everyone has been enjoying their Winter Break, some of the builds are looking insane!

Correct! The rule stated below is the reason why we had to change the exhaust

You were going to go out the hood with the exhaust before right? When I was heavy into autox, I had a cutout which wasn't 100% with the rules as it dumped like right underneath me, haha.
I'm not sure I posted it on here or not, but driving back to Louisiana from Atlanta I hit a semi tire in the middle of the night and it screwed up my bumper, and caught the lower intercooler pipe and broke both vanjen clamps.
Yeah we originally were going to do Titanium straight out of the hood, still wish I could of done it that way but I LOVE the bumper exit.

I'm hoping I can find some time before TX2K to get a nice paint setup and re shoot my bumper and the engine bay.. but I'm going to 100 Acre Wood Rally next week so I may not have a chance to get to it.
I managed today to get an exhaust shield made.. I suppose it's not awful for my own handiwork. It'll do for now!
Thanks bro! It's definitly a good feeling.. let's see how long I can keep it together this time. Starting on a fresh new tune next week to tidy up some things and to swap to ECUBoost.
The exhaust is not bad at all! In fact, I actually prefer it this way over my Greddy 3" TBE. I believe its a lot more quiet in the cab due to having nothing to resonate off of ( the ground ). Here is a video of me cruising around, doesn't do much justice but may provide you with some insight. Please ignore any tuning related issues in this video

Thank you!

Thank you!

Thanks bro!
So the other day I finally got around to mounting up the GrimmSpeed 3 port using all Push Lock fittings. This was such a pita, I have no experience with these connectors and it took me for forever to find the actual correct sizing of everything and to find out what I needed to order. So I sat down one night and did all the research for myself, and now for you guys. This was also done for well under $100

Here is my order list from McMaster for all the parts you'd need. Keep in mind this is for a twin wastegate setup using a 3 port boost controller. I bought a few extra connectors and decided to change a few things up, most notibly going with t-taps right on the second wastegate. Below is a photo for reference, and a table displaying all the connectors you need to purchase.
The fittings are Nickel Plated brass
| Maximum Pressure @ 72° F | 260 psi, except the tube stem couplings and plugs are rated 150 psi |
| Temperature Range | 0° to 175° F, except the tube stem couplings and plugs are 32° to 140° F |
The hose is Polyurethane Tubing
| Maximum psi @ 75° F | 175 |
| Temperature Range | -40° to 165° F |
I also ordered this to protect the line coming straight off the turbo, since it comes in contact with my radiator and is quite close to the header. I also used some of it to extend the boost controller harness.
High-Temperature Chemical-Resistant Expandable Sleeving
Temperature range is -90° to 480° F
| Location | Connects to | Thread Size | Fitting Needed | Part # | Unit Price |
| Port on Turbo | T-Tap (Grimmspeed EBC Port 1 // [T-Tap WG #1 Bottom // WG #2 Bottom]) ( See T-Tap ) | Self-tapped 1/8 NPT | 90° 1/4" pipe x 1/8" NPTF | 51495K234 | $3.06 |
| Grimmspeed EBC Port 1 | Port on Turbo | 1/8 NPT | 90° 1/4" pipe x 1/8" NPTF | 51495K234 | $3.06 |
| Grimmspeed EBC Port 2 | T-Tap WG #1 Top // WG #2 Top ( See T-Tap ) | 1/8 NPT | 90° 1/4" pipe x 1/8" NPTF | 51495K234 | $3.06 |
| Grimmspeed EBC Port 3 | Vent to Atmosphere | 1/8 NPT | None needed ( VTA ) | ||
| Wastegate #1 Top | Grimmspeed EBC Port 2 via T-Tap | M10 x 1.0 ( 1/8 NPT suffices ) | 90° 1/4" pipe x 1/8" NPTF | 51495K234 | $3.06 |
| Wastegate #1 Bottom | Turbo // Grimmspeed EBC Port 1 via T-Tap | M10 x 1.0 ( 1/8 NPT suffices ) | 90° 1/4" pipe x 1/8" NPTF | 51495K234 | $3.06 |
| Wastegate #2 Top | Grimmspeed EBC Port 2 via T-Tap | M10 x 1.0 ( 1/8 NPT suffices ) | 90° 1/4" pipe x 1/8" NPTF | 51495K234 | $3.06 |

| Y | Grimmspeed EBC Port 2 to Wastegate Tops 1 & 2 | 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4 Tube | 5779K44 | $4.65 | |
| Y | T-Tap F2 to Wastegate Bottoms 1 & 2 | 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4 Tube | 5779K44 | $4.65 | |
| T-Tap | Grimmspeed EBC Port 1 / Port on Turbo F3 / T-Tap F4 | 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4 Tube | 5779K34 | $4.65 | |
| Tubing | .16" ID x 1/4" OD Tube | 25ft | 5648K25 | $11.50 | |
| Total: | $46.87 |
I really hope this helps you folks in making the move to these connectors, they're very badass and easy to use. I pressure tested them up to 50psi and had 0 leaks.

I have yet to setup boost error correction, but this is what I have so far at 40% WGDC ( Wastegate Duty Cycle ) for my low boost map. The car can make a lot more power, but I'm still very restricted with my injectors ( ~90% IDC ). I'm keeping these injectors for now as I'm doing my absolute best to tune the car the way it is and learn as much as possible before going larger.
I, unfortunately, also discovered a huge hole in the back of my intercooler
The factory tow hook was rubbing into it and caused a hole. Talked to Collin@ToxicFab and he is going to patch it up for me while I'm down there for TX2K. Other than that the car is doing GREAT. Drove it 1500 miles for the 100 acre wood rally in Missouri and it performed flawlessly, and I turned around and drove it to Houston and back yesterday without an issue, and I also managed to get 27mpg.
