Collin here is the video I was talking about, this is very light throttle in 4th just to open the wastegates on the way back from Houston.

I've got a funny video of it fogging the windshield up while getting on it in 20 degree weather.

Thanks bro!

So the other day I finally got around to mounting up the GrimmSpeed 3 port using all Push Lock fittings. This was such a pita, I have no experience with these connectors and it took me for forever to find the actual correct sizing of everything and to find out what I needed to order. So I sat down one night and did all the research for myself, and now for you guys. This was also done for well under $100

Here is my order list from McMaster for all the parts you'd need. Keep in mind this is for a twin wastegate setup using a 3 port boost controller. I bought a few extra connectors and decided to change a few things up, most notibly going with t-taps right on the second wastegate. Below is a photo for reference, and a table displaying all the connectors you need to purchase.

The fittings are Nickel Plated brass

Maximum Pressure @ 72° F 260 psi, except the tube stem couplings and plugs are rated 150 psi
Temperature Range 0° to 175° F, except the tube stem couplings and plugs are 32° to 140° F
The hose is Polyurethane Tubing

Maximum psi @ 75° F 175
Temperature Range -40° to 165° F
I also ordered this to protect the line coming straight off the turbo, since it comes in contact with my radiator and is quite close to the header. I also used some of it to extend the boost controller harness.

High-Temperature Chemical-Resistant Expandable Sleeving

Temperature range is -90° to 480° F
Location Connects to Thread Size Fitting Needed Part # Unit Price
Port on Turbo T-Tap (Grimmspeed EBC Port 1 // [T-Tap WG #1 Bottom // WG #2 Bottom]) ( See T-Tap ) Self-tapped 1/8 NPT 90° 1/4" pipe x 1/8" NPTF 51495K234 $3.06

Y Grimmspeed EBC Port 2 to Wastegate Tops 1 & 2 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4 Tube 5779K44 $4.65
Y T-Tap F2 to Wastegate Bottoms 1 & 2 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4 Tube 5779K44 $4.65
T-Tap Grimmspeed EBC Port 1 / Port on Turbo F3 / T-Tap F4 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4 Tube 5779K34 $4.65
Tubing .16" ID x 1/4" OD Tube 25ft 5648K25 $11.50
Total: $46.87
I really hope this helps you folks in making the move to these connectors, they're very badass and easy to use. I pressure tested them up to 50psi and had 0 leaks.

I have yet to setup boost error correction, but this is what I have so far at 40% WGDC ( Wastegate Duty Cycle ) for my low boost map. The car can make a lot more power, but I'm still very restricted with my injectors ( ~90% IDC ). I'm keeping these injectors for now as I'm doing my absolute best to tune the car the way it is and learn as much as possible before going larger.

I, unfortunately, also discovered a huge hole in the back of my intercooler The factory tow hook was rubbing into it and caused a hole. Talked to Collin@ToxicFab and he is going to patch it up for me while I'm down there for TX2K. Other than that the car is doing GREAT. Drove it 1500 miles for the 100 acre wood rally in Missouri and it performed flawlessly, and I turned around and drove it to Houston and back yesterday without an issue, and I also managed to get 27mpg.

OMG thanks you for making this list ive been wanting to do this too but it was such a chore to tackle the part numbers and sizing. Thank you again you have no idea

Thanks! Lots of more work to do, but I'm enjoying the car as much as I can for now.. will most likely be going overseas for awhile sometime later this year, so I'd like to not break it before then or take it down.

Not a problem at all! I felt the exact same way so I figured I'd compile it all into a list to help someone out.

I've gotten a few PMs about how to plumb the Tial 44mvrs, so I threw together a quick diagram to show it. Please let me know if this helps, or would rather it be displayed differently.

Been awhile since I've updated this thread and a few changes have been made

ID2000s
Buschur Double ( Thanks Gonzo, you're the man - Can't wait to meet up sometime so we can talk tuning stuff )
JMS Built head ( Thanks Thomas, you're a life saver and I owe you a few )
1+mm oversized valves
GSC no tick lifters
GSC S3 cams
HKS Cam Gears
Port and Polish
OEM Headgasket
ARP Custom Aged 625 head studs
STM Coolant Overflow

Also along with these changes have been a few for myself, I voluntarily separated from the Military and moved back home to Missouri and have since started a career in Logistics Consulting.. and my first client... "Cummins Engines" Very excited to be back home close to family and old friends and see where this new career takes me.

I just got around to tuning the car this weekend and on a very rich tune and very conservative timing I made 602hp/422tq. This is about as much torque as I want to push the stock block. Next Sunday I hope to be taking it to a local track event just to see what it'll trap, no desire to launch it and ET.

Tearing the engine down to replace head gasket.

New Head showing up

Look at these pistons!

I mean seriously, look at these things! 209k miles!!!

New heater labels, it's the important small things in life.

ID2000s

STM Coolant overflow fitting in between ToxicFab radiator and ETS 4"

Nice work. Pistons look great! Mine were nasty with 80k on them. I cleaned them up really well. Hopefully they'll look good if I ever pop the head off!

<<<@!1!@>>>

Thanks bro!! I'm pretty excited haven't been to the track in a long time.

<<<@!2!@>>>

Thanks bro!

<<<@!3!@>>>

I bought the car with pretty high miles but I'm finding a ton of evidence to backup the point that miles are just an arbitrary value that does not depict the condition of the vehicle at all. This thing is in incredible condition, especially the motor. Kevin from Evo Dynamics had it tuned before on a stock setup for probably 20k miles while I've tuned it for the past 20k miles so I was way shocked to see the condition that the pistons were in. ( Kevin's tune on it before was beautiful, I just wanted to learn so I tuned it myself since. )

<<<@!4!@>>>

Yeah I tried to clean them up the best I could, I was just stoked to not see any detonation marks or anything.

Weather has been pretty bad but been trying to get as many logs in as I can before the track on Sunday, here's an idle video the moment after I got it running and a 1st-2nd gear real quick.

Other than a stubby exhaust, zero. I never had intentions of doing weight reduction and my interior is entirely too nice to warrant riding itself of it.

Like I said I'm not going to launch it, I'd just like to click off a few 130+mph traps. It trapped 121mph last time out not even making 500hp.

Well I took it down the track 2 times and realized I wasn't going to land the 130mph trap like I had wanted. It's just not going to be possible right now with this stock transmission, I have to ride 4th gear out like 20 yards on the redline at 8250rpms.

Best ET was 10.6
Best Trap was 127 ( top of 4th )

Check out my 1000ftmph vs 1/4mph. The run by far felt the best and I was at the top of 4th a bit before the finish line so I tried shifting into 5th and just couldn't get it.

I'm on the left.
