Toxicfab Build Top Mount S300
Starting to get some major updates on my cars build, so time to start a thread!
Bought the car from a fellow EvoM user, hfj8080, who took just absolutely amazing care of this car. I could not find anything wrong with it upon inspecting it. Only owning the car for one day, and expressing entirely too much joy, I blew the clutch out on it Fixed that problem, then a month later blew the transfer case while at the drag strip.
Knew this was time to get started on a build, and my current roommate at the time Jeff Straka ( S2000 from Hell ) got me talking to Collin@Toxicfab. I was scheduled to deploy soon and had arranged the car to be delivered to him to get started. Unfortunately deciding to start on the build so quick, I decided to just concentrate on the turbo kit for now and plan on doing motor stuff sometime in Spring. Trying to be patient and do everything right the first time.
Here is the way I bought the car
Modifications already done
Since then, I’ve added
After a lot of talks with Collin and deciding on the direction of the car, he talked me into a Borg Warner S300 FMW. Talking to Jon@Fullrace, he got me setup with the S300 T4 with .91 a/r, 2 Tial MVR 44mm gates, and a Tial 50mm Q bov.
Goodies arriving
Had a friend redo my wing for me, which turned out amazing!
Car arriving at Toxicfab
Turbo chrome powdercoated
It was really hard communicating with Collin while deployed, but he was patient with me and we discussed plans as best we could. We finally decided to do a one off, top mounted turbo setup. With the exhaust going out of the hood vent, and waste gate dump tubes going to the ground. We both kind of wanted to do something different in the Evo world, and figured this would be just that.
Manifold mockup
First 2 runners welded
All welded up
Turbo sitting on the finished manifold
Titanium anyone??
Man, I really hope I can hear my exhaust!
That brings it up to speed, I’ll keep updating this thread as much as I can. I honestly have no goals for the car, just wanting it to be fun. I plan on making it to TX2K13, and already got my room booked so hit me up if you’re going!
I want to personally thank the following individuals

Thanks again for everything bro, you've been awesome to work with.. can't wait for updates
Thanks! Your car was actually my inspiration to do something big to mine, can't wait to see whats in store for you in 2013.
Actually.... I do have old people living around, which is a good thing because they're mostly deaf.
Thanks man!
Thanks bro, hope you can make it to TX2k13 so I can meet you. First round on me.
Haha thanks! I'm too excited so I can't help sharing all the photos. May need to hit you up some for some goodies!

Also going to need someone to drive my car all weekend, because I can't resist Shiner Bock.
Collin is a mad scientist. Probably, if not, one of the best fabricators out there.
