Update: 2-28-13

Just got a call from TPG motor should be done by the end of next week! Still need to order my clutch and send out my injectors to get cleaned but shooting for it to be running by the beginning of April at the latest

Update: 2-29-13

My valve cover came in the mail from Detective Coating on Friday before I left for work, it came out really nice! I am going to send my Bov/WG and Intercooler piping later on to get done.

Had some time today to start cleaning up the interior, going to sand it down and paint it just to clean it up.

JT, did you remove those 2 metal stiffening braces under the engine? They are like 24" long, round bar? If so, you selling them?

All thats under the engine is that bloack long lower support that has the front motor mount that bolts to it..is that what your talking about

No no, they are the stiffening braces. There are 2 of them, parallel to each other, running from the drivers side to the passenger side.

Sounds like maybe yours were removed already - perhaps the previous owner.

I went down to TPG to pick up my motor, its a Curt Brown Head and Block.







Motor Specs:
10.5:1 Long Rod
JE Pistons
Turbo Tuff Rods
Stock Crank
GSC S3 Cams
Bronze Guides
Kiggly Springs
Port Job Fixed
Valve Job with Unshrouding


And today I went to Summit to pick up a few things

AN Fittings for my water pipe & Tstat housing


I also picked up a firesuit jacket for this year
