So T-stat housing & nipple on the water pipe are both welded closed now? Looks good Dan! Also, why the hell is there so much oily dirt on/near your T-stat housing? Was your cam angle sensor housing or something in that area seeping?

here are better pics of the cap. the reason for this is my radiator sits lower then the T-Stat housing. so filling the system and getting all the air out is a royal PITA. so i had this made. my last one was basically the same but had a fitting on it for a water temp gauge and i no longer have the gauge so i wanted a cleaner look. i know i have issues.

today i got the 2 rear brake lines in, and fuel feed line back in. i am on hold because i am waiting for some parts to show up. until then it is basically doing the small boring things.

Damn you. Throw them in the air and the heavier one should hit the ground first haha.

Yes. And the update I am getting is supposed to be a huge difference. I'll have all the details once I get them back

mine or a stock one?

mine pretty simple. a stock one is a PITA. you have to pull the center console off and deal with all that crap.

Dan is your block half filled at all or none of that? I was contemplating on doing that with my 4g63, but the more i think about it, its prob not necessary on the 4g63 block.

currently no it is not at all. 100% wet. i do plan to go with a high rev 2.3L next year and will probably semi fill it. but i do not think it is needed. also IMO bore size plays a big part in that.

yes absolutely. the more you bore it out the thinner the walls. .20 over on a 4g63 would be the maximum i'd say for safety.

i am not going to worry about filling a 4g63, the 4g64 on the other hand will be half filled without compromising the cooling passages so it is still street friendly.

Ye, I was asking for stock. I have looked a little into it, seems like a huge pita. Looks like there is a lot of harness that goes under the dash and all.

I miss my 1g dsm, harness went through the firewall and to the ecu haha.
