Any news? Hopefully all of the troubles and drama are behind you and Sushi can proceed towards completion.

Best wishes!

Nothing more but alot of parts have been purchased.
I've been having problems with the cage as the original welder did not complete the job correctly and left some gusseting on the kit out.

Trying to get a fabricator to finish this while the car is on a rotisserie and I am away 4out of 5 weeks has been next to impossible over the last 16 weeks.

Really have grown siuck and tired of shops that get paid good money to do a job promise to do it then never finish it or do it incorrectly.

Several lessons learnyt during this build that's for sure.

I'd recommend anyone undertaking a project of this size to deal only with race teams, and even then be careful (my spare 8374 was purchased off a well known australian raceteam and dropped in transit with out insurance- another $650 in costs to me).

Only buy from certified dealers of products and make sure you have a time frame in which work will be completed by anyone.

Taking 4 months to weld a cage and not doing it properly then telling my friend you want nothing to do with it after gaining $7000 in welding labour out of me and nearly another $2000 in additional fabrication work is certainly not the way to deal with a customer or gain a recommendation for your business....

Sorry guys everything is on hold at the moment as the Cage installer is not being responsive. I'm waiting for them until tomorrow to reply or I have to commence legal action against them.

I'm really tired by all this I'm a good customer I always pay in advance or on time in installments as work progresses.

When you're trying to build something special and you're treated like this it's insane. I can't post pictures at the moment but it's p[retty easy to piece together.

My first quote is coming in at roughy $13000+ to replace the cage and their work. I'm still shocked that a shop could do this to me....

Not really , tore a tendon last year and had to have an operation , got two types of staph in hospital and had to have another 4 operations.

Still trying to sort something out to avoid court action in regards to the cage, so everything is on hold, this is a long project and tiring.
