I agree about the Exedy being much easier to slip and drive in general.

QM are hard on hubs and synchros and that's usually why you start getting locked out if your clutch is within spec. Pull one out and you will see where its been beat on the edges. They're cheap and I can have one changed out in a few hours from start to finish. I got two seasons out of the last tranny and clutch and I feel I would have gotten more out of it had I not made a mistake at the line. I'm not as hard as Chris or Joey but I nlts every pass and on the street doing pulls pretty regularly. Its about a grand to rebuild the trans and a clutch and I'll get another two seasons out of it or more if I don't beat the crap out of it on the street.

I think at your level the dogbox will get you your times and less breakage throughout the year. I'd have one in my car if I could afford it.
